Hunt Grounds v0.975: Survivor Tutorial

This update introduces the Survivor Tutorial and includes several fixes and visual improvements across gameplay, lighting, and UI.

New Content

Survivor Tutorial is now available
A guided introduction aimed at easing first-time players into core mechanics and objectives.

Gameplay & Mission Fixes

Fixed police lights in the optional mission
Killer Sense no longer triggers on dead survivors
Fixed an issue causing duplicate inputs when replaying
Removed Dark Vision for Hunters following interior lighting adjustments

Visual & Environment Updates

Updated Marlow Ridge exterior doors, now feature a visual barricade similar to Lakeside
Fixed emission issues on certain character appearances
Interior lighting adjustments to improve readability and atmosphere

Other

Various minor fixes and improvements

Looking ahead: the road to v0.98 will include the Hunter Tutorial and additional AI improvements.

Opinion & Questions

I got the full game today and am really enjoying it so far. After trying out the demo I really wanted to see what improvements and changes had been done to the full version. I do have some questions, however. 1. How does Lady V's ability work exactly? I understand it makes her jump/fly up really high then slam down on the ground. But, are you able to control where she lands exactly? 2. How do I execute a survivor? I am not sure which button to press and/or how I press it. Do I need to press ...

Update v0.971: Lighting & Stability Update

This update focuses on improving lighting consistency and fixing several UI and game-play issues reported by players.

Lighting Improvements

Reworked lighting across Marlow Ridge and Lakeside to improve visibility and atmosphere
Adjusted default brightness values for better balance across different monitors
Temporarily disabled Hunter Dark Vision while lighting changes are evaluated and refined

Game-play & Interaction Fixes

Removed the “Interact” prompt after completing the phone box / final phone interaction
Phone box is now highlighted when fixed but the call to the police has not yet been made
Fixed an issue where bots could get stuck while fleeing the Hunter on Marlow Ridge

UI Fixes

Fixed missing Execution button text
Fixed Custom Loadout UI not displaying correctly.

Fixes & Minor Improvements

Bots now correctly stop at the end of a match
Improved spectator mode: camera rotation now works properly while a match is active
Fixed an issue where bot scores could behave incorrectly
Fixed a key binding issue in the settings menu

fun games tonight, can we get a secondary ranged attack?

maybe a 1 ranged attack with a long cool down to break things up the 1 melee attack get's a little tired after awhile. I want to use some vampire powers.
