Much like the title says. there are in fact Kings in this game. and guess what? there's 9 of them...
like city-builders? get this. Like rogue-likes? Get This! LIKE G A M B A?? GET THIS! 9/9 would royally gamble again

Not my usual type of game, but my friend got it in a bundle and seeing him play grew on me. A very simple card draft auto battler, but I like tying to navigate the random cards and rerolls to watch my army grow into a force. Was worth the purchase.

It's a fairly addictive game, but I personally want to shout out the art direction and sense of style all these kings have. The pixel artwork looks great, and the cards have a lot of personality that I appreciate. That, and the new quest mode added some extra flavor to what the kings sound and act like, which I found endearing. Hopefully we'll see more content soon!

Brilliant. Quick games, easy to understand what's going on while being difficult enough to always throw challenges at you that will take MANY plays to overcome. Then the reward of of letting you absolutely break the game when the stars align and feel like a genius for a hot minute, only to brickwall you the next.

Quest mode is fantastic, can't wait to see what content comes out next.

A brilliant game, quick to play in what appears to be a simple format but which allows for a crazy variety of strategies.

The newly introduced quest mode still needs some rework, as right now most quests rely mostly on luck than skill to finish, but it's great to see the developers still putting so much love into the game.

The game is a bit barebones. While you have your own troops/ cards, after every couple of rounds you can pick cards from yoru competitors, so in the end they mix together. It is also not so deep, there is nothing outside just 1vs1 with AI. Good enough with the discount, I will finish couple more bosses and return after some major updates. 7/10, it works and is limited fun.
It is good enough for some 6-7 hours, not more.
