New Additions

Added a new stage! Forbidden Dungeons can be unlocked in the Ink Shop. Check it out for some darker matches, and some more lore regarding the history of the school! Who is that strange man in the background…?
There are now lore cards that appear when you highlight the dorm names on the character select screen! Which faction would you join?
Added new features to Practice mode including an Input Viewer, a Hitbox Viewer, and speed controls!
In the Options menu, there is a new Tournament Mode that unlocks all characters & costumes, turns on match timer, and sets stage to random while restricting players to Versus mode - this will speed up TO’s capabilities to run offline tournaments.
Added explicit joystick support in the Options menu. You can control your fighter with the right or left joystick alongside using the d-pad, or disable joystick controls entirely. You can also adjust the deadzone of your chosen joystick.
A new character has been added to the background of the Wildwood Dormitory stage. Jam out to her tunes!
A Records Menu has been added in Collections that keeps track of your match statistics moving forward.
Tag meter now regenerates immediately in Practice mode. Like Health regen, you can turn this off in the pause menu.
A new figurine was added to the Ink Shop.
Two new figurines were added that can be unlocked on the Stamps board.
Added a sixth costume for Wendy that can be unlocked on the Stamps board.

Bug Fixes

Solved an issue where resetting Practice mode would cause glitchy behavior at the start of the match, soft-locking the game.
Fixed a bug where the “costume selection” sometimes wouldn’t appear.
Characters can no longer be stuck in their teammates’ bodies after getting KO’d.
Fixed a visual glitch where characters would be stun with the “stun” visual effects.
Fixed a bug where projectiles would not show up on the combo counter.
Fixed an issue where Scheherazade’s “second use” Supercharge sometimes wouldn’t activate.
Removed the wand of Little Sillies from Wendy’s default costume.
Fixed an issue where replays of Arcade boss battles would crash the game.

Other Changes

New Unlockables and a New Tournament Mode for PvP Fest!

Version 1.02.0

New Additions

A new online mode has been added - Global Gauntlet! This is a special ladder tournament mode that will only open up occasionally. Win as many matches as you can in 24 hours to get the highest score! The first Global Gauntlet is Sunday, February 15th, at 8:00 AM EST (13:00 UTC) to Monday, February 16th, at 8:00 AM EST (13:00 UTC). Join the Discord server (https://discord.gg/69hj7mMKfj) to claim your prize after the tournament.
Replays are now saved at the end of matches. You can view your replays in the Collections menu. By default the 20 most recent match replays are saved, but you can star as many replays as you want to save them permanently.
Steam Cloud Saves were added.
You can now Spectate matches online. In Spectator mode, you will cycle through random Global online matches. In Friends mode, you can select a friend who’s already matched with an opponent to Spectate their matches.
Tag meter now regenerates immediately in Practice mode. Like Health regen, you can turn this off in the pause menu.
Move lists are now viewable from the pause menu in all offline modes.
Added a full-screen toggle and resolution settings in the Options menu.
Figurines were added to Collections. With figurines, you can view character models up close, and read some more lore and backstory snippets!
New Stamps were added to unlock figurines for each of the 8 fighters currently in the game - check the Stamps menu for hints!
Players now earn Ink at the end of matches. You can spend Ink in the Ink Shop (Collections menu) for more costumes and figurines. You earn 2x Ink from online matches and 3x Ink from the Global Gauntlet (so if you want to get Ink fast, participate in the Gauntlet!)
Added a sixth costume for Willie that can be unlocked in the Ink Shop.
Added a sixth costume for Alice that can be unlocked in the Ink Shop.
Added Steam Achievements tied to each of the available Stamps.

Bug Fixes

In the Versus menu, fixed an issue where the button input to change CPU difficulty wouldn’t be aligned properly.
Fixed a softlock where you could be stuck in an online match if the opponent quit during the load screen.
Improved dropped inputs online, especially for moves that involve mashing the button like Wendy’s Believer Bash.
Fixed an issue where if your online opponent loaded back to the main menu faster than you, you wouldn’t get the match winner text on-screen.
Fixed a bug with Wendy’s Supercharge where the throw would activate if it touched an opponent’s projectile.
Fixed a bug with Dorothy’s Supercharge where the Farmhouse wouldn’t appear if the Cyclone hit the opponent near the edge of the screen.
In all online modes, fixed an issue where costumes would break between matches.
Fixed an issue in Versus modes where the costume selection menu would sometimes say “Badges”.

Adjusted the description of Stamps that require a Scarecrow Shakedown score to make it clear that only the external Scarecrow Shakedown mode, not the bonus mode in Arcade, count for unlocking the Stamp.

Added a new game mode: Card Counter! Beat a horde of playing cards with spears as fast as possible. You can also select Badges to use in this mode!
Added Card Counter as a new Bonus stage for Arcade Mode.

Bug Fixes

Improved load times by storing more data across multiple matches.
Fixed a bug where players could slide their corpse around after getting KO’d.
Adjusted size & color of tag meter & health bars to improve visibility.
Fixed a bug where players would be sent to the Stamp screen after a match, even when there was no new Stamp to unlock.
Fixed an issue where Dracula’s Scarecrow Shakedown high scores wouldn’t download.
Fixed a bug where toggling Badges for Versus mode would affect other modes.
Downloading Arcade Mode high scores is now faster after completing an Arcade Mode run.

I've only played it for about half an hour and list some very, very quick pro's and con's so far. Con's - Sometimes the animations between character's during a strike or a grab doesn't seem to land. Making the characters look as though they are striking through a characer or away from them. - Some animations feel a little jilted (?) - A few big attacks last very long and break up the flow a little bit (though the big car animatino for (Gatsby?) was very fun! Demo Feedback: Pros: You're weird. That's good. Controller Support Like the Music. Cons: Literally everything about the combat, movement and gameplay feels looks and just isn't functional or appealing. Lacking Customization options, Fullscreen etc. Movement is stiff and weird. General attacks and movement feel like there's lag or delay built in. None of the attacks feel good to use or hit. Some don't even link into each other for decent combos or footsies.
