Out of all the difficulty options, this one is by far the worst. I can barely make it to the chiefdom creation and everything after that just falls apart. At some point, I decided to choose the opposite set up - instead of poor ground + everything else on easy, I chose abundand resources + everything else on hard and beat the game first try, getting gold in every trial except the last one. Legitimately, how can you win with the poor ground enabled?...
