Assassin's Creed Origins is my first game in the Assassin's Creed series, which was recommended to me by my friend Andex, an avid Assassin's Creed fan.


The game is more like an RPG, and character leveling is more important than ever. If your opponent is five levels stronger than you, it is simply impossible to defeat them. The only way out is to level up your character (and sometimes this is a rather tedious and monotonous task). This is what annoys me personally; I wanted to be able to fight any opponent (to have at least a theoretical chance of winning). The graphics, the view of the ancient world, Egypt, cities, animals, weapons, and transport are mesmerizing in their beauty. The storyline is very controversial. The main character's best friend only appears at the very beginning and end of the game (and he is definitely the best friend). The main character's wife is cooler than the main character himself, and it's a shame that she appears so little in the game (in my opinion, she could have been made the central character of the game). Battles with enemies are quite monotonous. The secondary missions are very decent, and sometimes even more interesting to complete. Overall, the game has both a large number of advantages and, to put it mildly, controversial decisions. Therefore, I think that fans of the Assassin's Creed series will like the game, but those who have not played Assassin's Creed before may not like it. But overall, I got positive emotions from the game.

hot take: this is the best assassin's creed has to offer after the ezio trilogy and black flag. hands ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ down. the side content is absolutely superb and the side missions of every location tells a story taking place in the many cities or townships this journey takes us. i am in absolute awe of this game. though, it made me deeply upset to see love has to die for the greater cause of ridding the planet of the order but i understand it now. i'm so happy to have finished this game on the last day of 2025—this year was an emotional rollercoaster ride for me and this game reflected that, too. i hope khemu is happy in the field of reeds. i will be returning for the dlcs.
