Political messages posted on social media like this are generally 'cringe', but in the current environment of the United States I feel an absolute need to write something out to whoever will listen. I want to make it clear where I stand on current issues, but I am a little paranoid about automatic systems from 'agencies of the three letter acronyms' putting me on a list that may be acted upon in the future, so I'm going to word everything carefully.

I support freedom. I support the Constitution. I support freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and freedom of the press. I support the first amendment, the fourth amendment, the eighth amendment, the thirteenth amendment, the fourteenth amendment, the nineteenth amendment, and the twenty-second amendment. I support the rest of the Constitutional amendments as well, but the ones listed are currently under attack and of whose existence the government needs reminded.

Due process and the rule of law should be followed, and not only for specific people or groups.

Immigration policy needs heavy reform. Armed lawless agents patrolling the streets and terrorizing lawful US citizens and residents is not the solution to immigration troubles.

One may argue for and against the Death Penalty, but everyone should agree that the punishment should be delivered by the courts, and not armed agents in the streets.

Predation on children should be illegal; enforcement action should be taken against it regardless of if you have an important job or a lot of money. For the sake of the children of the future, the truth should never be buried on such matters.

Bribery or 'gratuities' should be illegal; enforcement action taking against it in all three branches of government. Bribery by individuals, corporations, and by foreign governments is all equally bribery.

Corporations should not be free to collude against consumers by misleading and extorting them as a group.

The US should try to work with its allies, and not follow the exact wishes of countries that wish to do it harm by threatening or extorting those allies.

The education system should be well-funded and teach what reality is as best we know it. It should teach critical thinking so that everyone should be able to analyze information and form their own independent thoughts.

A small handful of unelected billionaires should not hold massive power over our, or any, government. They also should not have control all media sources as they currently do by owning and manipulating just about every social media website and press organization.

For those who lack empathy, and instead have the hateful desire for a significant population of lawful US residents to be removed from the country: whether it is removal from physical location or removal from being alive, you should recognize that the path the country is currently on with its current leadership will, at the very least, lead to the US becoming more akin to the 'third-world' countries which so many disdain and mock. You will be poorer, less healthy, and less free. Is it truly worth wrecking the country just to harm those you hate? If not for the sake of others, at least recognize that on our current path, harm will eventually be done to you.

Nothing written here should be controversial. If you find yourself arguing against this message, I suggest a thorough re-examination of your own political/philosophical/moral beliefs to check if they may need revisions, or if you may not have been following them during the past few years. If you firmly believe that people deserve death for living their lives and exercising their rights as citizens, or even just as humans, and want to achieve that death at all costs, then I can only wish that you realize what is wrong with that mindset in another life, and wish you luck that you do not perish from another person sharing your same mindset.

If you want to change the current system, but lack substantial money and power, there is no easy solution. The things that everyone can do right now are:
• Vote in every election you can, including primary elections. Be sure to check up on the laws in your area regarding voting, and ensure using whatever tools are used in your area that you are still registered to vote. Do at least a small amount of research on the candidates. Vote for those who truly want systemic change, instead of the current status quo. With that said, If your only option is voting for a lesser evil, then hold your nose and do so.
• Get the word out in spite of suppression of information from media companies on what is happening locally, nationally, and in the rest world to everyone you can. If you see a crime, document it, make multiple copies of it in various locations, and post the evidence as soon as possible. Do so as anonymously as possible unless you are willing to take the risk.
• Know your rights. If you have not read it before, read the full text on the Constitution and its amendments.
• Learn who the politicians are for your area. Call them if you have the time to express your concerns. If they are not accepting calls, send a letter if you have to. Remind them of who they answer to and their duties to you, your local area, and the country.
• Build connections in your local community. Alert your local community to any problems that you spot. Help people in your community that need helping.
• If there is a protest near you, join it, but take serious precautions. Look up various strategies to stay safe. A good place to start is looking up the strategies of H_ong K_ong protestors.
• Remain informed, but do not lose hope or give in to apathy. Take some time to mentally and physically rest when you need it. Analyze information you are given and look for falsehoods or fallacies, and think of what may be left out of the information purposefully. Judge eyewitness accounts, pictures, and videos for yourself and draw your own conclusions. Don't let others draw them for you.
• If you can afford it, send your money to valuable causes.
• If you do so safely, arm yourself and be prepared to defend yourself, your family, and your community if it comes to it.
• Be brave, but be properly prepared.
