♡ an honest and heartfelt review ♡

while heartopia, at the soul of it, is a mobile port, this game is so simple yet so inviting and warm; i had no idea i had already spent 2 hours playing ₊ . ⊹ ♡

the graphics are so cute, and i love the effort put into all the clothing. you can truly create your own character and have your own personal style. although the clothes can be a little on the expensive side, it's retty easy from the get-go to customise your character easily. i have around 50k coins so far without really doing all that much besides quests ദ്ദി ༎ຶ‿༎ຶ )

the only downside to this cozy game is the controls (⇀‸↼‶)
i adore the graphics and everything that has been built in the community, but oh man the controls are a bit of a let down. i will continue to play, but if you find mobile ports frustrating to play i wouldn't recommend until the devs actually make it playable on pc :c the controls for building are very hard, because you're still in the perspective of your character whilst you build. this means it is very clunky and unintuitive. furthermore, the controls to look around are very... well it's like that itch on your hand you can only get rid of most times by using your teeth. sometimes it doesn't even acknowledge that i am, in fact, clicking and attempting to swivel my camera around as i walk. i expect playing on your phone would be viable, but i am one to enjoy steam more :3

an upside is that if you wanted to take this game on the go (via phone) you can do so, just log in with google or apple (one of three choices anyway) ⋆˙⟡
