Have ~2500 hrs over the course of years at the time of review. Despite this being my own most played game by far over the years, I wouldnt recommend it to my worst enemy. Lack of competitive alternatives is all that allows gaijin to get away with what they do. From gaslighting and milking the playerbase dry to feigning a desire for actual feedback and then deleting that constructive criticism, these devs have gone further than whatever you currently behold as the most poorly managed game out there. Never mind the fact that only the most autistic of milnerds like myself would suffer the ridiculous grind this game forces upon its players (free or pay2play) in the name of "progression". More than once have I shown the game to a more casually interested friend only for them to uninstall almost immediately after seeing what the progression looked like

If youre interested in planes, youll be far better off and less frustrated playing dcs or il2 depending on era or budget

If youre interested in tanks, youll be better off in GHPCs early access

Remains completely broken from a networking standpoint over 2 months after release, many players like myself cannot spend more than 20 minutes in a game before being disconnected. Was sold purely on the hype of being a "preview build of arma 4" but lacks content for the price and it seems there is no plans to add more. The only way any of this wouldve been remotely acceptable is if it were a free multiplayer beta. Think its clear at this stage that this was just a quick buck for Bohemia, I regret thinking that this would be fixed in due time and not seeking a refund within two weeks of purchase. Stick with Arma 3 for now, the performance and graphical gains are nowhere near as significant as we thought theyd be as it stands.
