Things have gotten worse. There's a battle pass. A paid battle pass in a $120NZD game. And the rewards are absolute garbage. Stuff pulled straight from Tekken 7 and terrible customization items including - untextered default sphere from the Unreal5 engine. You can't make this ♥♥♥♥ up, who is this for Bandai Namco? I have no trust in the running of this game as it's just as bad on the gameplay side with senseless mechanic changes that benefit no one and punish everyone. Sort your ♥♥♥♥ out. Hope the game continues to get coverage over this ♥♥♥♥ show, they need to know that it isn't okay and you are completely alienating your playerbase.

There's a difference between having micro transactions in your video game to support ongoing development costs and releasing a f2p style, anti consumer, premium currency that is hidden until a month after release, allowing you to bask in all the good press and sales. I love tekken. This sucks.

FIX the plugging issue - you're not a small studio this is getting ridiculous.

the story is very silly, i mean REALLY silly. the writing is genuinely not good and has some funny translation and voice acting issues.

the action however - is immaculate. the game plays, looks and sounds amazing and i think this is a fantastic package that i will no doubt spend hundreds of hours playing over the next few years. I was not a hardcore tekken 7 player, but I have been warming up to the series recently and this game is the perfect diving in point for any potential new players as well as returning players looking for a fresh tekken experience.

also the music is amazing, specifically the Tekken 3 Jin Theme remix

finally made it out of green ranks for the first time. it took me along time to click with the game but can't wait for tekken 8.

i'm going to go into a depressive spiral now that i've finished the frog detective series, don't regret a thing. deeply moving, highly recommend !!!

Great RPG one of my favourite games. A shame it wasnt as long as I had expected but still an awesome game.
