I'm currently in love with GameMaker, so I'm SAD. ;P Post a GameMaker build too! You know, like an alpha, beta, etc. I love a good independent game development story. And Unreal is seen as a non-indie engine, though of course the word "indie" has many meanings too. ;)

GM is definitely the best for 2D.
