I 100%'d the game but I can't afford all the sleeves
Thanks for the report! This is fixed in the 1.1 build which I'm hoping to get pushed in the next couple days (got some other bugs to fix too). Thanks for playing!
Is there a way to keep our saves ? I've lost two save files because I closed my browser
Yes this is a bug with the mobile port, I've fixed it in the 1.0 build, planning to deploy in the next day or two. Apologies for the errors!
I started playing yesterday (so v1.0) on my iPad and when I opened my browser this morning (still v1.0) my save was gone. I refreshed the page and the version updated to 1.1, but I’m reluctant to start over in case this happens again—especially with a patch note saying that the endgame has been made slower.
Have you tested this on mobile?
If you're on the same device, the save should be compatible as long as it was from version 1.0 or later. I test on PC (firefox and chrome) and iPhone (firefox and safari) when deploying. I'm working on an export/import feature to transfer progress between devices. Cheers!
Just FYI, I tested it again and it still seems to fail. Right after posting that comment I played through about 20% of the first deck. Returned to the page just now and there’s no save, no progress. 🤷🏻♀️ If I play again it’ll be on desktop; not sure any godot games save properly on iOS/iPadOS.
That's odd. I also just tested on my device (iPhone 16e, iOS version 26.1) on both firefox and safari and worked. I'll keep digging and see if I can track down the issue. Thanks for your report!
it reset my progress and im gonna cry </3 good game tho 10/10
Apologies! The mobile port required a save file reset (even for PC users). The 1.0 update will also force a reset, but after that saves will be preserved. Thanks for your support and patience!
loved it! played it twice, I need mooooore! :D
Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed it enough to replay it! I have some ideas for an expansion but I'd need to figure out new mechanics, otherwise it would just be more monsters with nothing to upgrade. Stay tuned!
3rd times the charm, right? took me 90 minutes this time :> why am I so addicted?!
So it's been a few days and I have played a couple more rounds. Here is some feedback:
While Autodraw/Merge is running you can't really go into your deck to sell cards, cause it autorefreshes, is there a possibility to change that?
Money mostly feels like it's not doing much. if you take some time and not try to speedrun the game, you never run out. or if you just get up to pee once you are basically done with money for the rest of the game.
Could we get the option to "store" more finished cards in the slot where you add them to collection? I've used this trick a few times in the first set to not get too overwhelmed with options in my deck with that little handslots.
maybe add an option to get some experience for some different upgrades? maybe you gotta finish some sets multiple times and you get another xp/currency for other stuff, so that you maybe play 2 packs at once or something similar? if you'd like we could brainstorm a bit more about that one in the future?
I've seen your patchlog and your planned feature sound awesome. gotta love to see some challenge modes on this otherwise quite easy but enjoyable game :>
I did it and it was so much fun.
Thanks for playing!
took about 3 hours to beat it, but fun game
Thanks for playing! That's a little faster than my intended target time (4-5 hours) but glad you had fun!
In my second run I did it in about 2h, my first run took me around 3-4
auto sell does not work, but also this is a much better variation on the last version of this game I saw.
Thanks for the bug report! Does it not work at all, or is the initial timer before upgrades (10s) too long? EDIT - I found the bug and I'm working on a fix now. EDIT 2 - The bug is fixed in the latest build, thanks again for your report!
Thanks for addressing it. And funny enough... it seemed to fix itself after other purchases on tree. I am not sure when it fixed, but glad to see it was handled.
Yep! I incorrectly set the auto-sell trigger inside the auto-merge call (a holdover from an earlier version where all the automation was in the same upgrade), so if you had the auto-sell but not the auto merge, the timer wasn't able to reach it correctly. If you had both, they worked fine. They now work independently. Thanks again for the report!
OMG this game is sooo addictive! It's simple but just addictive I don't know why! GREAT game!! Is there any reference of the game or is it original? I'd like to see it on my phone!
Thanks for playing, and glad to hear you enjoyed it! I haven't done any mobile dev but I might look into porting options. As for originality, initially it was going to be military themed (merging units to rank them up). I came across the asset pack and thought the monster art was cute, so the game gradually turned into the card game you see now. Cheers!
really good take on an incremental game during this current wave of them. Love the idea behind it. Keep it up :)
Thanks for playing and leaving a review! It's my first time publishing on itch and I wanted to give back to the incremental games community. Cheers!
