FamiDriver

This is a software to make 8bit music (chiptune), and you can make music using the NES sound device with more DAW-like operation.

There is already a similar software, but its operation was unique, so I decided to make it myself, and after half a year...I finally finished it. I made this software for my personal use, so I think I have included most of the functions necessary for chiptune.

• Flexible clip editing
• Tracks can be added and deleted
• Rectangle selection
• Intuitive sweep editing
• Supports tempo change and beat change
• Polyphonic mode
• Midi import
• WAV output
• NSF file output
• NES file output (playback information is displayed)
• Supported audio expansion: MMC5, VRC6, SS5B (more will be added via updates)

What is not possible

• Pan left/right
• DPCM data conversion
• Other things that the NES sound device cannot do

System Requirements

• Windows 10/11 64bit
•  .NET9 and VC++ runtime are required. 
• (Not required as they are included in the installer version)
