As a kid, I played Dragon Warrior on NES several times. I was so enamored, I even built a LEGO world with rules similar to it.
This game definitely reminds me of those days. The art, combat, music. It's all there. Even some of the friction, but some little modern touches have been added that make it feel less cumbersome.
My complaints are mostly what comes from it being a WIP - Sometimes overly lengthy character dialog, the intro story screens fly by a bit fast, and there are some little performance hiccups - but I see the vision, and I'm excited to play more when it comes.
Looks great! Can't wait to play the complete version!
