So yeah, thought you’d guys would be interested to know I am sorta kinda involved with books now. Basically there’s a bunch of sticker books known as PixelCraft that are coming out in July, and I’ve contributed pixel artwork to two of the books; Monsters and Superheroes, some examples of which are featured on the covers I spotted on their Amazon listings. Gotta say, this was an interesting experience, not just because of my unfamiliarity with making Pixelart outside of Flash, but also the challenge of coming up with interesting designs while also working within color limitations.
From what I can tell, the books should be coming out on July 1, 2015 and you can pre-order Superheroes and Monsters from Amazon via these links. If you’ve got kids or just fancy seeing pixelly stuff, do consider buying some so the publisher will think ‘hmm, we might want this Wonchop fella to do some more work for us’.
