    Hi – thanks for the update. However, seeing versioning update bug:

    WP Mail SMTP ProYou have version 4.9.0 installed. Update to 4.9.0. 
    Compatibility with WordPress 7.0: Yes (according to its author)

    okay … doing the update *again* removed the available update option.

    so, needed to update twice to be actually updated. Odd.

    In looking into this further, it may be due to ‘pro’ version installed (base version is *not* installed).
