Currently node module documentation http://www.drop.org/node.php?id=329 is non-existant
Natrak has written a good writeup about node system in general http://www.drupal.org/node.php?id=189
Two choices:
a. Why not incorporate best bits from it into documentation?
b. Wait until drupal handbook transfer from drop.org -> drupal.org is completed. Then the Kjartan's writeup can be linked to docs using book outline.

ax commentedif i remember correctly, Kristjan did this in the course of its documentation update. and can close this item.
btw: the original title of this feature request was something like "document the node module". i (accidentally) changed it. i think it shouldnt be possible to change bug / feature request titles, should it?
