What do you like best about HowNow?

Nice clean UI, easy to create content for complete newbie in LMS management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HowNow?

Very few room for customization and integrations. Some features outrageously missing (no customized surveys? no feedback answers?!) It is tricky to handle users if they are a mix of internal and external. Too many limitations (e.g. you cannot write a customized Welcome email, and the current one is unnecessary wordy and pitching Hownow, login details only at the end). As a seasoned LMS manager, I find the LMS needs to improve a lot. Lastly, customer support is fast, but you can tell they are not technically knowledgeable: sometimes I feel I know the LMS best. What do you like best about HowNow?

The options available. I really enjoy have the HowNow+ catalogue it helps with the curations of content. And the customers service is very responsive Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HowNow?

I would like to see an update to the pathways. Make it more streamlined. Being able to add badges/certificates to pathwyas would be nice for gamification.

What do you like best about HowNow?

We've had a fantastic account team who have helped us implement HowNow into the business. Our cusotmer experience manager is fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. She's able to understand our business issues and provide solutions that help adapt the platform to our needs. We've just recently launched the platform and the system is easy to use and works great for most of our colleagues. HowNow works amazingly with Bob and has therefore been easy to implement. I love how I can assign learning via our internal groups and departments. They have an awesome team to help with issues and the response time is incredible. Everyone at HowNow is absolutely brilliant and focused on cusotmer satsifaction and improving learning in our organisation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HowNow?

Some of the HowNow+ content isnt suitable (i.e. tone/style/ different culture/ inappropriate humour etc) and sometimes there are loading issues but these do generally get resolved quickly and no platfomr is fault free :). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about HowNow?

The team at HowNow have been amazing to partner with. They've made what was quite a daunting, high profile project land effortlessly.

The platform itself is intuitive, easy to use and offers a number of incredible features that help truly personalise learning for the end user without leaving them feeling overwhelemed. The ability to bring learning to the learner in the flow of work is game changing, and supports the evolution of how we learn now ;-)

The Customer Support team have been incredible to work with, adding huge amounts of value to the project. They really do go above and beyond to ensure you have the support you need to deliver. The team have also dealt with any queries or challenges amazingly, responding to issues in no time at all. Their change runway is really exciting to see and is built all around feedback from the end user making the enhancements to the platform relevant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HowNow?

There are some enhancements that could be made around organisation of content and data and reporting but they already have this on their runway. And anything that hasn't been thought of they are happy to review and provide a portal for how customers can make suggestions for improvements.

What do you like best about HowNow?

HowNow is a real joy to partner with. Their customer-centricity is outstanding and they are responsive to feedback - their "Canny" feedback site allows you to suggest/upvote product improvements which they interact with regularly and they also provide great transparency on their roadmap.

They regularly innovate and it's exciting to partner with such a modern, agile organisation. The release of their learning pathways is a recent favourite.

HowNow really "get" learning - e.g. they take the learning to where the *learners* are with integrations with the browswer, or Slack etc. - it makes access to upskilling far more seamless. Their nuggets (short, bitesized content) are great, too, as they allow for microlearning. The site is simple to use, so it's really easy for our colleagues to create upskilling on it, even if they're not specialists. The channels are helpful and it's fun, modern and fresh.

Their smart, authentic team constantly impress and they will also go the extra mile to build great relationships and continuously add value, providing high-quality insights into L&D best practice with their podcast, L&D Disrupt, and learning events like HowNow Hacks.

What do you dislike about HowNow?

Unsurprisingly, the team is 'on it' with addressing downsides in their roadmap. The biggest one that they are addressing for us is getting better data analysis capability. They're also finessing channels (which we need to be more organised). I'm sure soon they'll give L&D teams "super admin" rights to be able to edit another's content and hopefully they'll also look into UI a little more (e.g. we do need a better way for learners to distinguish between content types - it would be helpful to be able to visually signpost that something is a podcast versus article versus workshop for instance). What do you like best about HowNow?

Our end users love the interface and ease of use in HowNow, as well as all the tools and reporting options. We have had such a great overall experience since we started using the system. And from an internal/adm,in perspective, the support and guidance we have recieved from Lulu, Alfie and James has been phenomenal. They are alwasy there when we need them, not only supporting us from a technical perspective, but from an L&D strategy perspective as well. They communicate in a timely manner, which is important to us, and they always keep us up to date with new features and functionality. HowNow takes feedback from their customers and actions it. What do you like best about HowNow?

HowNow is an incredibly intuitive platform. We implemented around 1 year ago and recently had our first mandatory training administrated through HowNow. We had very few queries from users about access. The customer success team are amazing. They are helpful, quick to respond, flexible and really friendly. What do you dislike about HowNow?

We have HowNow+, one of the downsides, is the fact that we have to upload the content to our LMS for our employees to have access to, versus the employees just having upfront access to all of the content right away. This is different than how other content platforms have functioned, like Coursera and LinkedIn Learning where employees can just search for content to learn about.
