"Zoho Mail: Clean, Secure, but Limited Storage and Tricky Setup"
What do you like best about Zoho Mail?

Ad‑free, clean / uncluttered interface

Users like that there are no distracting advertisements inside the mailbox. The UI tends to be clean, minimal, professional.

Strong security and privacy features

Two‑factor authentication (2FA) and options for strong authentication.

Encryption (in transit, at rest); compliance with standard security policies; monitoring for unusual account activity etc.

Domain‑based policies, spam/malware filtering, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zoho Mail?

What people dislike about Zoho Mail

Limited Storage in Lower Tiers / Free Plan

The free plan gives only 5 GB which many users say is low, especially compared to Gmail’s 15 GB.

Even paid plans in some cases are felt to have insufficient storage when you have many attachments, large media, etc.

Custom Domain Setup & Initial Configuration Can Be Tricky

Some users report that setting up DNS records, SPFs, DKIM/DMARC, aliases etc., or migrating from other services (Outlook, Exchange, etc.) can be confusing or unreliable.

There are situations where contact/calendar sync (especially via CardDAV / ActiveSync) doesn’t work cleanly, or fields don’t map / edits don’t sync correctl Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient and Feature-Rich Email Solution with Zoho"
What do you like best about Zoho Mail?

One of the standout features of Zoho Mail is its clean and intuitive interface. It’s easy to navigate, which makes managing emails a breeze. I also appreciate the robust organization tools, such as folders, labels, and filters, which help me keep my inbox tidy. The integration with other Zoho applications is a huge plus, allowing for seamless collaboration and productivity. Additionally, the built-in calendar and task management features are very handy for keeping everything in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zoho Mail?

While Zoho Mail is generally reliable, I’ve experienced occasional slow loading times, especially when accessing large attachments or during peak usage hours. Also, the mobile app, while functional, could use some improvements in terms of user experience and responsiveness. Sometimes, it feels a bit clunky compared to the web version. "A Powerful, Ad-Free Email Suite for Business"
What do you like best about Zoho Mail?

I love that it's a privacy-focused and ad-free email service that's incredibly powerful for businesses. The control panel for administrators is fantastic, and its seamless integration with the entire Zoho ecosystem (like CRM and Docs) makes it a complete productivity hub, not just an inbox. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zoho Mail?

The user interface, while very functional, can feel a bit dated and clunky compared to the more modern and fluid designs of competitors like Gmail. It gets the job done, but it just lacks that slick, intuitive feel in its day-to-day navigation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Email Management for a Growing Business!"
What do you like best about Zoho Mail?

As the administrator and owner at Odelia Enterprise, I’ve found Zoho Mail to be a very practical solution for handling my company’s emails. Setting up accounts for my team was straightforward, and the interface is clean.

I like how Zoho Mail keeps my inboxes organized, with good spam filtering and easy ways to sort messages. Since I’m often on the move, being able to access mail on my phone and respond quickly has made a big difference for my productivity. The admin controls let me manage users and permissions without much stress, and I appreciate the security features that help protect our data.

Zoho Mail is user-friendly for most people, but some of the more advanced settings and integrations take a bit of time to figure out, especially if you’re not very technical. Sometimes, syncing with other office tools is not as smooth as I’d like, and integrating with some external apps needs extra steps. I use Zoho Mail for communicating with staff and clients, and while it has many features, some are more suited for bigger organizations, so we don’t use everything.

Overall, Zoho Mail solves our problems around reliable email delivery, user management, and keeping our communications secure and organized. It saves me time as an administrator and helps my team stay connected, so I’d recommend it to other businesses looking for a dependable email platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zoho Mail?

Sometimes the advanced settings and integrations can be a bit complicated and take extra time to figure out, especially if you’re not very technical.

I struggled to setup my AWS hosted domain, but eventually figured it out Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Email Management with Zoho Mail, but Support Needs Improvement"
What do you like best about Zoho Mail?

The best thing about zoho mail is it is fast, user friendly and makes things smoother when it comes to emails. It helps you to categorize the emails which makes the process smoother when responding back to clients. It easily differentiate the internal and external emails as well which helps in reducing urgent client email miss outs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zoho Mail?

It is slow and sometimes it gets confusing when a new feature roll out is there. Also support can be improved as turn around time of support is relatively more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable and Professional Email Solution for Businesses"
What do you like best about Zoho Mail?

Zoho Mail is clean and distraction-free. I like that it doesn’t have ads and feels lightweight compared to Gmail or Outlook. Once I set up my filters and folders, it’s been easy to keep my inbox organized. I also like using my own domain for emails and it makes the business look more professional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zoho Mail?

The setup was honestly a bit of a headache. Connecting my domain and creating mailboxes took longer than I expected, and I had to read a bunch of help docs before it finally worked. Search is another weak spot — sometimes it takes a while to find older emails. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Cheap & Powerful would recommend for startups"
What do you like best about Zoho Mail?

The standout feature for me is that it allows startups to obtain a professional email address at no cost. I also appreciate the automatic email handling and the ability to have multiple users included in the free plan. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zoho Mail?

What I find most frustrating is the delay in receiving notifications. Sometimes they arrive as late as five minutes after the event, and even at best, there's usually at least a one-minute lag. This can be quite annoying. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable Business Email with Strong Security and Clean Interface"
What do you like best about Zoho Mail?

Zoho Mail provides a clutter-free, ad-free email experience that feels professional. I like its simple, user-friendly interface and strong spam filters, which keep my inbox clean. The integration with other Zoho apps (like CRM and Projects) makes it easy to manage communication and workflows in one ecosystem. Mobile apps are also well-designed and reliable, which helps me stay connected on the go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zoho Mail?

The storage on lower-tier plans feels a bit limited, and attaching larger files can sometimes be inconvenient. The initial setup for custom domains takes some effort if you’re not very technical. Also, compared to bigger players like Gmail or Outlook, the third-party integrations could be broader. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best alternative for Outlook & Google"
What do you like best about Zoho Mail?

First off, it's super secure and private. I don't have to stress about Zoho reading my emails to show ads — it's completely ad-free. Plus, it's got all the heavy-duty security stuff like encryption and two-factor authentication, so my stuff is really locked down. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zoho Mail?

Cannot open 2 different accounts in same browser, as all the apps are single user account connected Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
