When tragedy strikes, our communities come together. Alpine Bank has established a benefit account to support the family of Nicholas Dale, the Canadian helicopter pilot who lost his life while helping fight the Gold Mountain Fire on July 12. Nicholas came to Colorado to help protect our communities. We hope you'll join us in honoring his sacrifice by supporting the family he leaves behind. Alpine Bank is launching this effort with an initial $10,000 donation, and 100% of additional donations will go directly to Nicholas Dale's family. The benefit account will remain open through August 31, 2026. Learn more or make a donation at alpinebank.com/goldmtnfire.
About us
Founded in 1973, Alpine Bank is an independent, employee-owned organization with headquarters in Glenwood Springs and banking offices across Colorado’s Western Slope, mountains, and Front Range. Alpine Bank employs more than 800 people and serves 170,000 customers with personal, business, wealth management*, mortgage, and online banking services. Our customers tell us doing business with employees who actually own the bank makes all the difference. They cite our friendly service, flexibility in creating tailored solutions, timely local decision-making, and long-term customer commitment which can often spans decades. At Alpine Bank we believe that strengthening our communities is more than good business, it is our business. That’s why Alpine employees receive 24 hours of paid volunteer time each year, and through our innovative Loyalty Debit Card program, with every customer transaction Alpine Bank (not our customers) donates 10 cents to support nonprofits and charities in Colorado. In 2023, the bank gave $2.35 million to community causes through this channel. Alpine Bank has a five-star rating — meaning it has earned a superior performance classification — from BauerFinancial, an independent organization that analyzes and rates the performance of financial institutions in the United States. Volunteer Day: Boulder MOD Factory! The Alpine Bank Team had a great day building houses at the Boulder MOD Factory. Boulder MOD is a collaboration with Flatirons Habitat for Humanity, City of Boulder, and Boulder Valley School District. The project is helping provide affordable homes while simultaneously teaching trade skills to BVSD students. Being part of the process from fabrication to the final loan closing is such a rewarding way to support our community! Thank you to everyone involved for making it a great day - we look forward to the next one! Molly Tayer, Jane Day Rich, Alex Varner, Danielle Hermon, Kiva Stram

In recognition of Denim Day, branch employees across the state are wearing denim with purpose. While it’s a chance to show some style, it also serves as a moment to stand for something deeper. What started as a global movement against victim blaming, Denim Day has grown to become a symbol of support for survivors of sexual assault. Join us in wearing denim today and in standing with survivors every day.
