At last week’s Reagan National Economic Forum at the Ronald Reagan Institute, Booz Allen CEO Horacio Rozanski joined Chairman Jason Smith of the House Ways and Means Committee and Katie Koch, CEO of TCW, for a panel on preserving America's leadership in an ever-changing world. Horacio connected our latest cyber research to a bigger warning: adoption of Chinese LLMs is accelerating. This morning, Booz Allen CEO Horacio Rozanski joined Fox Business Network's Maria Bartiromo to share the findings from our latest cyber research and its implications for national security.   When we tested the trustworthiness of U.S. and Chinese AI models, the results were clear: Chinese LLMs produce more vulnerable code, especially when the user appears to be from the U.S. government. These vulnerabilities are difficult for traditional tools to detect. As these lower-cost models accelerate into the U.S. software supply chain, the vulnerabilities they produce come with them.   Horacio's message: untrusted models should not be used in national security or critical infrastructure contexts.
