  • What makes a strong team? It is not just experience or structure. It is how people show up for each other. In this clip, Sarah Chen, our Field Marketing Manager, shares her experience since joining the team. A culture where collaboration is not forced. It feels natural. Different perspectives are welcomed, especially when shaping how the brand shows up through events and new opportunities. Even in a small team, everyone plays a meaningful role. That kind of environment creates something important. Confidence. The ability to ask questions, explore new ideas, and contribute without hesitation. Because people feel supported, they are able to do their best work. That is what ultimately shapes how a brand is experienced from the outside. Take a listen to Sarah’s perspective. • Progress is measured in systems coming together. At our Lithia Springs campus, ATL5 and ATL6 are entering a critical phase where infrastructure is being installed, not just planned. Underground and overhead MEP work is actively progressing across both facilities, alongside continued development of generator yards and roofing systems. Inside, data halls, corridors, and electrical rooms are beginning to take shape as interior buildout moves forward. This stage is where coordination matters most. Power distribution, cooling systems, and structural elements are being integrated in parallel, each dependent on the other to support long-term performance. ATL5 and ATL6 will deliver up to 120MW of critical IT load, designed to support high-density enterprise, hyperscale, and AI workloads. What looks like steady construction is actually precise sequencing. Every system being installed now defines how these facilities will operate at scale. Take a closer look at the latest progress at our Lithia Springs campus. • AI-assisted development is helping teams ship software faster than ever. Speed creates opportunity. It also creates something familiar to engineers: technical debt. When teams prioritize solving problems quickly, early solutions often need to be refined as systems scale. That tension between speed and elegance is part of building real technology. • Construction tells a different story from above. What once looked like raw ground is now taking shape into something much more defined. At our Culpeper campus in Northern Virginia, IAD5 and IAD6 are moving from early groundwork into structured development, where design begins to translate into reality. Power infrastructure is being established. Cooling systems are being planned into the build. Every layer is engineered to support high-density workloads from day one. Together, these facilities will deliver more than 190MW of critical IT load, built for AI, hyperscale, and enterprise environments that demand both performance and flexibility. This stage is where scale becomes visible -- not just in size, but in the coordination required to bring power, cooling, and infrastructure together into a single, operational ecosystem. What looks like just construction is actually precision. Every decision made here defines how these facilities will perform for years to come. Take a closer look at how the Culpeper campus is coming together. • High-density AI workloads are pushing data center infrastructure into entirely new territory. In this latest article, DataBank's Chief Operating Officer Joe Minarik and Jenny Gerson, Senior Director of Sustainability, examine how rack densities and other developments are rapidly moving beyond the limits of traditional cooling systems. Industry roadmaps now point toward environments approaching 600kW to 1MW per rack, accelerating the shift toward liquid cooling, modular design, and purpose-built AI facilities. The next generation of data centers will look very different from those built just a few years ago. • Water usage is one of the most debated topics in digital infrastructure. It is also one of the most misunderstood. Most conversations start with a simple assumption. "All data centers consume large amounts of water." That assumption misses what is actually happening inside modern facilities. Not all data centers use water the same way. Older designs often relied on evaporative cooling, where water is continuously used to remove heat. That is the version many people still picture. The industry has already shifted. Modern facilities are increasingly built with closed-loop systems. Water is recirculated within a contained system, not continuously consumed. Some cooling systems are advancing further, using liquid technologies that remove water from the equation entirely. This shift is not accidental. It reflects a broader evolution in how infrastructure is designed to balance performance, efficiency, and long-term sustainability. As demand for AI, cloud, and real-time applications continues to grow, the systems supporting them are becoming more precise, more efficient, and more intentional in how they use resources. The conversation around water usage is important. It needs to reflect how these systems operate today, not how they worked a decade ago. The reality is simple. Modern data centers are designed to do more with less, including how they use water. What have you heard about data center water usage that surprised you? • AI demand is accelerating. So is the pressure on infrastructure to scale responsibly. That conversation is front and center at Colorado Climate Week in Boulder. On April 1, Jenny Gerson will join a panel focused on a critical question: How do we scale AI without sacrificing climate progress? The session brings together leaders across clean energy, grid research, water strategy, and digital infrastructure to explore what sustainable growth actually looks like in practice. From power and cooling to long-term resource planning, this is where strategy meets reality. As AI workloads continue to grow, the infrastructure behind them must evolve just as quickly. That includes how energy is sourced, how water is used, and how systems are designed for long-term efficiency. Jenny will share perspectives on how sustainability is being integrated directly into infrastructure decisions, not treated as an afterthought. If you are attending CO Climate Week, this is a conversation worth being part of. • Enterprise cloud strategy is changing. Rising costs, vendor consolidation, licensing uncertainty, and evolving compliance requirements are forcing IT leaders to rethink one-size-fits-all cloud models. Many organizations are realizing that flexibility and control are becoming just as important as scalability. Choice is becoming the defining principle of modern infrastructure strategy. Join our upcoming webinar to explore how organizations are rethinking cloud strategy and building more resilient infrastructure environments.  📅 April 23 🕒 12:00pm – 1:00pm EDT. 💻 Virtual Register here: https://lnkd.in/gpRYWPDG  Follow DataBank for insights on digital infrastructure, cloud strategy, and enterprise IT. #cloudcomputing #digitalinfrastructure #hybridcloud #enterpriseit #datacenterindustry
