#Eurosatory2026 Integrating modular tactical mini drone platforms with SIGINT capabilities. Through its Avantix business, Eviden announces a strategic partnership with Hexadrone, a French expert in the design and manufacture of modular drone platforms. The two companies are combining their expertise to advance a shared ambition: integrating versatile, compact and sovereign Signals Intelligence (#SIGINT) capabilities into modular mini-drone platforms. This collaboration will enable the development of drones capable of supporting a wide range of intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (#ISR) missions. 🔏 Code signing is indispensable. 👉 But without digital certificates, it simply doesn’t work. In May 2026, DigiCert – one of the world’s leading certification authorities – was compromised through its own support channel. The attackers succeeded in obtaining legitimate code-signing certificates. For malware. With full system trust. ⚠️ At the same time, the The Certification Authority Browser Forum (CA/Browser Forum) reduced the maximum certificate validity period from 39 months to 15 months (460 days) in March 2026, recognizing that long-lived certificates are often forgotten and left unmanaged in practice. Two developments. One clear message: - Code signing requires a trustworthy Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). - Signing keys must be hardware-protected and assigned to clear ownership. - Certificate lifecycles must be automated – not managed manually. “We set that up three years ago” is not a strategy.
