We think skills are better when shared with the whole team. So how can you gather them all together and distribute them directly to developer’s IDEs? We put together some action items based on how our customers manage skills: 1. Auto-discover skills that exist in your org. They might be hiding in repos and Port can help you discover them. 2. Build a skills library where you can see them all in one place and group them by type. 3. Use the Port CLI to distribute them. People can choose which ones they want to sync to their agents. 4. Let people contribute back to the library, just like in open source Check out this video that will help you build a home for your skills

Think reducing MTTR by 50% with AI is impossible? Think again! Join us on for a webinar on June 17th where we'll build a working agentic workflow that responds to incidents, surfaces the right context, and suggests remediation automatically. We'll be building live, from scratch, with time for Q&A at the end. And once it ends, you'll have everything you need to build it yourself. Hosted by Matar Peles (Field CTO @ Port) and Kevin Wolf (Product Solutions Lead @ Port) Sign up with the link in comments

Most companies are building AI agents, while Port.io is building the infrastructure around them 💪 On the latest Open Source Startup Podcast, Timothy Chen & Amanda Robson sit down with Port Co-Founder Zohar Einy to discuss why the agentic era needs a control plane for visibility, governance, permissions, and context A few takeaways: 1️⃣ The future may belong to platforms, not point solutions 2️⃣ Every company will need a system of record for agents 3️⃣ AI has made engineers self-sufficient, but governance is a challenge 4️⃣ Enterprises are adopting AI workflows faster than many people expected Port's vision: make both humans and agents more effective by centralizing engineering context and enabling anyone to become a builder Great conversation with Zohar on where software development is heading 🚀 Full ep 🔗 https://lnkd.in/gnBtiMwF

We're excited to announce that Port is now integrated with Cisco AI Cloud Control! Joint customers can now access Port's engineering context lake directly into Cisco AI Cloud Control. With unified visibility across your entire software catalog, services, and developer workflows, AI agents can reason and act across the full software delivery lifecycle, turning IT operations into a true Agentic SDLC. Without context, ownership, dependencies, terminology, standards, your agent guesses. And in production, guesses are expensive. This is where a Context Lake comes into play. Read more: https://lnkd.in/dG8_mp6F
