At this year’s Bella’s Ball, presented by the Live Like Bella® Childhood Cancer Foundation, our very own Kim Juanico, pediatric and neonatal palliative care nurse coordinator, was honored with the Dr. Diddly Dee Award. Recognized for her compassion and leadership, Kim has devoted her career at Holtz Children’s Hospital to supporting children with complex conditions and their families. Since 2015, she has been instrumental in relaunching and expanding our PediPals and NeoPals programs, creating meaningful experiences such as Feel Good Fridays, our annual Holtz Children's Prom, and family day events that bring comfort, dignity, and moments of joy for patients and loved ones.
