Introducing Lovable 2.0 – now smarter, multiplayer, and more secure. Lovable lets you build production ready apps and websites by chatting with AI. Today, we're making Lovable smarter with a chat mode agent, adding multiplayer so you can collaborate with your team, and making your projects more secure with security scanning. This is all that's new in Lovable 2.0: Security Scan – Easily surface security vulnerabilities in your app before publishing with Lovable’s new Security Scan feature. You will find the results of the scan in the publish dialog for Supabase enabled apps. This is just the start of many things we'll do in the coming months to make vibe coding more secure. Multiplayer – Invite others to your project to make edits to the same app or create a team workspace to collaborate across several projects. This is perfect for startups, teams, and enterprises collaborating on the same app. This feature is being rolled out in stages – if you don’t see it yet, it’s on the way! Chat Mode Agent – Our new chat mode agent is 10x smarter and doesn't make edits to the code. This is perfect for asking questions, planning your project, and debugging. This mode is agentic, meaning it can reason across multiple steps and decide when to search files, inspect logs, query the database, and more. Pricing changes – We’ve simplified our pricing into two clear options: the Pro plan, with flexible tiers starting at $25/month, and the Teams plan, starting at $30/month for teams that need shared workspaces. Custom Domains – Buying and connecting domains is now built into Lovable. This was first introduced to Lovable a few weeks ago and 10k+ custom domains have been connected to lovable apps since. Dev mode – Dev Mode lets you edit the code of your project directly in Lovable. We first introduced Dev mode a couple of weeks ago and people love it. And yes, we’re still calling it Dev Mode… Visual edits – Visually edit any styles in Lovable, for faster and more precise edits. We've had this feature for a couple months and we have made it even more robust since then. New brand & UI – Last but not least, we've made ourselves more lovable. Our new brand, and cleaner UI, is as bold as you feel when turning your dreams to reality. This upgrade sets the stage for making Lovable even more powerful, secure, and intuitive. See all the changes yourself at lovable.dev Thank you all for your support ❤️

Lovable’s security reviewer uses AI to analyze your app for security vulnerabilities and recommends a plan to address them. It will identify issues in your Row Level Security (RLS) configuration and address vulnerabilities such as code injection, cross-site scripting, or authentication flow weaknesses. It uses advanced reasoning to understand how the app is intended to function.

EVERYONE SHOULD BUILD SOMETHING Especially in Europe. The talent is here. The funding is here. The tech is here. The energy is here. and AI is your best co-founder to get started. 1) You can build globally from your apartment in Berlin 2) European design + global distribution = unfair advantage. 3) Strong European VCs (Creandum, etc.) 4) The cost to test an idea has dropped to near zero. 5) You can launch before quitting your job. 6) You’ll learn more in 3 months building than in 3 years of university. 7) There's never been more infrastructure for young builders and first-time founders. 8) You don't need a strong network to get started. Just a signal. 9) Europe's best talent is shifting from corporates to startups. 10) The next global category leaders will come from here. I am so excited and grateful to experience this momentum firsthand. We just hit $60M ARR at Lovable. (50% growth up from last week) With our small team in Europe building something for the world. Let's make this is our moment. What are you building?

𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗵𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗸 🔥 I see a lot of founders still building apps the same way they did before we had AI. But if they don’t adapt, they will miss out. Here’s why: The way we interact with computers is fundamentally changing. Historically, interfaces helped us communicate with computers because they couldn’t understand us. So we needed buttons, screens, and structured flows to tell them what to do and what we wanted. But in the age of AI, that’s no longer relevant. We need to fundamentally rethink human-computer interaction. AI is getting incredibly good at understanding intent. It can predict what we want before we even say it. It’s faster than any human, and with the right context, it can behave almost exactly like you would. This has massive implications for interfaces and how we design products. Take food delivery apps as an example. Ordering food today takes 10+ clicks. You scroll, filter, customize, enter details, pick a payment method. Way too much effort for such a simple task. Now, imagine an AI-powered flow. The AI already knows your preferences and dietary restrictions. Payment is set. It suggests the best meal for you, right now. You hit one button or just say "Go" and the job’s done. Sure, the final step still needs your approval (for now), but everything else just happens. The UI of food delivery apps and most service-based experiences will become obsolete. Once AI knows who you are and how you think, you won’t need a traditional interface to get things done. At least not the way we think about UI today. We’re moving from apps with 10 screens to apps with one. From cluttered interfaces to minimal triggers. The smarter the system, the less UI you need. Eventually, the best UI might be no UI at all. And the sooner you prepare for that, the better. Spotify is already on this path. The more I use it, the less I search. The UI is still there, but I barely need it. It’s optional. So think about this when designing interfaces. What are the most essential elements I truly need? And what can I reduce to the absolute minimum? The less, the better. That’s never been more important than it is today. Interfaces aren’t going away. They’re just becoming invisible. What's your take on this?

A lot of people think that AI will replace their jobs Especially designers and creatives… But here's the truth: You will only be replaced if you keep doing what everyone else is doing Let me explain: Back in the day, it was considered impressive to ship fast and beautiful designs The skill of a designer was measured by output The better the output, the better the product Ship and learn fast But that will no longer be relevant Because you can't compete with AI in terms of speed and execution AI will always outrun you And even the best designers in the world will be left behind E.g. Lovable today is already better than most designers when it comes to building something fast Good design is no longer good enough Your taste is no longer rare Being fast is no longer special So, what does that mean? Well, there is only one thing AI cannot compete with: You being you The best designers in the world won’t be the fastest Or the most efficient They’ll be the ones who care the most about their work Because the one thing AI cannot compete with is your heart and how much you care when building something It’s about that weird idea that makes no logical sense That weird interaction that took three extra days to get right The moment in your product that makes someone pause and smile We don’t need more artifacts We need more meaning Even when AI helps you make things, it won’t make them matter That’s your job now Design the parts algorithms can’t. Be obsessed with what spreadsheets can’t measure Build things people believe in. Not just use The biggest advantage you have? You are human. And your end users are too So build something that touches people’s hearts The love you put into a product can’t be faked It can’t be rushed And it can’t for sure be scaled by prompt engineering So here’s the truth: AI is not the end of design It’s the end of design without meaning The real work starts after the AI
