Lucentia was selected for the American Heart Association Ventures Heart & Brain Health Accelerator, in partnership with MedTech Innovator. Our founder, Sahar Jalal, started Lucentia to expand access to advanced coronary diagnostics by turning routine non-contrast cardiac CT scans into richer coronary insights. Grateful to the American Heart Association Ventures, Studio Red, and MedTech Innovator teams for bringing together this cohort of companies working across heart and brain health. Congratulations to the full cohort.
Eight startups. One goal: accelerate what’s next in heart and brain health. The American Heart Association Ventures is advancing a new cohort through the Heart and Brain Health Accelerator, part of the 2026 MedTech Innovator program. Selected from a competitive global pool, these early- and mid-stage companies are developing innovative technologies to improve outcomes, expand access and address critical gaps across cardiovascular and neurological health: ChamberTech, Cerevia Neurosciences, Envera Medical, Eupnoos, Flux Robotics 🧲, Lucentia, Omini and Prima Medical. Through the Accelerator, American Heart Association Ventures and the Association’s Studio Red are connecting these innovators to the expertise, mentorship and networks that help move promising solutions toward real-world use. The cohort will also participate in MedTech Innovator, unlocking funding opportunities, industry visibility and the chance to compete in the MedTech Conference finals this October in Boston. 👉 Read more https://bit.ly/43dG1UK
