🎬 I’m truly proud to unveil today our new @McCain Foods Europe ad campaign, driven by our purpose: “Champion the power of together.” Our new story "Teenager," directed by Antoine de Bary and featuring music from French band Papooz, tells the heartfelt story of a father and his teenage daughter. Through the simplicity of sharing fries, we show how even the smallest moments can help rekindle connections. 👨👧 🍟 This campaign perfectly embodies our McCain values— as a family-owned company since 1957, we’ve always believed in the joy of bringing people together through good food. 🥔🫶 With Teenager, we are bringing to life our European signature “Born to Share”, reaffirming our belief that opportunities to share and connect are essential, especially in today’s world. 🌍🤲 A huge thank you to the team Marine CESCON, Sophie Labaeye, Marc-Antoine Lecocq, Nicolas Schmitt, Emma Paraud & Timothée Camps and to AUSTRALIEGAD,Havas International - Paris , Antoine de Bary and Papooz for your creativity and energy in this collaboration. McCain has proudly called Great Britain home for more than 50 years. Recently, BBC’s Inside the Factory with Paddy McGuinness and Cherry Healey went behind the scenes at a McCain production facility, offering a closer look at how our fries are made. The segment follows the journey of a single truckload — 28 tonnes of potatoes — transformed into 1.7 million fries in just two hours. From steam peeling and precision cutting to highly automated packing, it’s a great example of how McCain delivers quality and consistency at scale. Watch a clip below, or catch up on BBC iPlayer here: https://lnkd.in/eKCGPaiS — the series is produced by VOLTAGE TV PRODUCTIONS LIMITED, part of BBC Studios. #WeAreMcCain

As the year comes to a close, I’ve been reflecting on the moments, both big and small, that came together to shape our work and accomplishments in 2025. At McCain Foods, that’s meant visible milestones, including our Making Regenerative Mainstream panel with McDonald's at Goals House during #ClimateWeekNYC, Routes to Regen through the Sustainable Markets Initiative, and the release of McCain’s first UK Farmdex Report highlighting the realities and resilience of British farming today. It’s also meant the quieter moments behind the scenes: conversations with farmers navigating uncertainty, partnerships built on trust, and the deliberate choice to take the long road — because it’s the right one. This year also offered a personal reminder of what matters most. Cheering on the Toronto Blue Jays with my boys, even when the season didn’t end the way fans hoped, was the true highlight—reminding me that the real win was the time spent together, sharing McCain fries. And as a member of the Jays Care Foundation Board, it was especially meaningful to see the team’s impact extend far beyond the field. Proud of the work, thankful for the people behind it, and motivated by what’s still ahead! #HappyNewYear #WeAreMcCain

You’ve done it with resilience, creativity, and pride — staying focused on what matters while continuing to raise the bar. At McCain, our purpose is simple and enduring: to make delicious, planet-friendly food people love. I’m proud of the progress we’re making together — and grateful for the people and partnerships that make it possible. Wishing everyone a well-earned moment to rest and recharge, and looking ahead with optimism to what we’ll achieve next, together. #WeAreMcCain

Hosting customers like Shake Shack at our Farms of the Future sites allows us to showcase our regenerative agriculture efforts that aim to build soil resilience while advancing shared learning on future-focused farming with our farming partners globally. 💛⬇️
When we talk about natural resources, we tend to think about air and water. But there’s another one, right under our feet, soil. Soil is essential. Ninety-five percent of global food production depends on it. It’s home to a quarter of all terrestrial species. And it plays a critical role in storing carbon and water, helping to mitigate climate change and reduce flooding. Its ability to do all of this (and more) comes down to one thing, its structure, or simply, its health. And yet, despite everything soil provides, we continue to take it for granted. We over-cultivate and overwork the land we rely on most. Every five seconds, the world loses soil equivalent to five soccer fields. It reminds me of something Franklin Delano Roosevelt once said: “The nation that destroys its soil destroys itself.” On this World Soil Day, I’m sharing a bit of footage from my time at McCain’s Farm of the Future, where I saw firsthand how regenerative practices, like cover cropping help protect soil from erosion and rebuild its resilience. As the global population grows and the demand for food increases, protecting our soil isn’t optional. It’s the only way to protect our food supply and create more of it. Soil needs saving. And for anyone wondering about the difference between soil and dirt - there’s a big one. Dirt is dead. Soil is alive with bacteria, fungi, algae, and countless tiny organisms that make up a thriving ecosystem.

McCain has a proud, 40-year history in France, a region that has played a pivotal role in our global growth. Over the decades, we’ve continued to invest in Hauts-de-France, strengthening our local partnerships and advancing regenerative agriculture together with farmer partners, dedicated McCainers, local suppliers and customers. #WeAreMcCain
In 1981, McCain Foods opened its first site in Hauts-de-France 40 years later, they are investing an additional €300 million in the region. For 40 years, Hauts-de-France has been home to many international companies in the agri-food sector. McCain was one of the first to invest here. In total, they have created 880 jobs in the region. In this slider, we tell you the wonderful story between Hauts-de-France and the Canadian French fry giant 👇
