Jessica Coley is the Employee of the Month for April. Jessica has been with PAM Health since 2017. Over the last 9 years, she has served in several roles and represents PAM Health values well. She is a Certified Nursing Assistant and Unit Secretary and has served as our Nursing Scheduler. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, the compassionate care she provides puts our patients and their families at ease during difficult times in their lives. Patients and families have expressed so many times how wonderful Jessica is and how they appreciate all she does for them. Jessica's dedication to teamwork is another reason we celebrate her. She jumps right in and helps where needed and has been a great resource for her coworkers. We are thankful for Jessica, her hard work, and dedication to our patients and to our team. PAM Health celebrates the incredible resilience of cancer survivors all year-round but especially today on National Cancer Survivors Day. We also remember those who battled tirelessly and bravely against cancer and their loved ones who carry on their legacies. Through the ups and downs of survivorship, recovery, and grief, PAM Health stands alongside everyone who has been touched by cancer! Jonathan Jones is the Employee of the Month for March 2026. Jonathan started with us in July 2025 as a Physical Therapy Assistant. He exhibits many of our PAM Health values. In the time that Jonathan has been with PAM Health, he has made a huge impact in the lives of our patients. He encourages them and excels at caring with compassion. His energy is contagious and so is his smile. He continues to demonstrate lifelong learning with a genuine interest in building his knowledge of all departments. Jonathan continues to grow in his role with our Rehab Department and as part of our entire team! His future only gets brighter, and we are lucky to be a part of it! May 30 is World Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Day. MS is a disease where the immune system attacks the brain and spinal cord and disrupts communication between the brain and body. PAM Health’s neurological physical therapy programs can help patients manage the symptoms of MS, like loss of motor skills and speech. Brittany Edmondson is our Employee of the Month for February 2026. Brittany started with us as a Respiratory Therapist in 2016. She celebrates her 10-year service anniversary at PAM Health this year. Brittany has exhibited so many of the PAM Health core values over the years. She assists the Respiratory Department with orienting new staff and really steps in to help her team. Brittany also exhibits teamwork across departments and provides geniune care with compassion for all our patients and their families. We are so blessed to have Brittany as a part of our team! 2026 Tackle the Tar was held this year on May 16th and we had several of our staff participate in the event. This is a 5K Obstacle Course Race held in Rocky Mount, NC each year. We have participated in this event for several years and love the opportunity to come together and represent PAM Health! This year, our team shirt's highlighted our Respiratory Failure Program with the slogan "Breathe. Live. Love." We appreciate all the staff members that joined us this year and the family members that came out as well. Though you get a little wet and muddy, your lungs get a great workout from the obstacle course, and of course there was plenty of fun and laughs!

This Memorial Day weekend, our doors are open and our team is here. While others take a break, PAM Specialty Hospital remains fully operational: Admitting patients, delivering care, and supporting the families who need us most. To our referring partners- We're ready.
