  • Satya Nadella post on Reverse Information Paradox is worth noting. The blog post asserts that in the AI era, the more you use a model, the more proprietary knowledge you risk giving away. One of his key recommendations is that enterprises build an orchestration layer that sits above different AI models so organizations can switch models, retain ownership of their knowledge, and keep their AI investments from being locked into a single vendor. That's the entire idea of Plutus Atlas. We started Plutus to build an insurance-specific orchestration layer. Plutus Atlas, our orchestration layer, sits across CRM systems, policy administration systems, document management, and claims platforms to abstract data from each system into a shared insurance ontology. That shared ontology becomes the common language for every AI agent. Instead of each model trying to interpret policy data, customer information, and business processes differently, every agent is working from the same relationships, the same context, and the same understanding of your business. That's when agentic AI actually starts to work. Instead of isolated AI Agents answering questions inside individual applications, agents can reason across systems, coordinate work, and orchestrate complete business processes. Models will continue to improve, but the competitive advantage will come from the architecture that lets you use all of them without rebuilding your business every time the market shifts. How are you thinking about orchestration in your AI strategy? Are you building around a single platform, or designing for a multi-model future?

  • Your best people are spending their days getting ready to make decisions, rather than making them. Their day is spent gathering documents, checking provisions, validating signatures, and making sure everything is audit-ready before they can even begin the work that actually requires their expertise. That is why we created the 𝐏𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐬 𝐀𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬. Whether it's NIGO Agentic Assist catching missing information before work begins, Quality Check Agentic Assist preparing risk-based reviews, Loan Payout, Money Out Distribution, and Money Out Withdrawal Agentic Assist preparing complex transactions, or Orphaned Policy Agentic Assist identifying policies that have fallen through the cracks, the goal is the same: Plutus does the preparation, so your team can focus on making the decisions. Built natively on ServiceNow and powered by Plutus Atlas, every agent works with real context, not guesswork. The future of life operations isn't more manual work. It's agentic intelligence that keeps the decision human. See it in action below and reach out to see a live demo in action!

  • We watched insurance leaders drowning in AI noise firsthand. And while there is no shortage of new product launches and demos, we saw a problem no one else was solving for. AI can only reason with the context you give it. And in insurance, that context is incredibly complex. Beneficiary structures. Loan provisions. Surrender rules. Product nuances. Regulatory requirements. The relationships between policies, customers, transactions, and workflows. The platforms carriers are using are incredibly powerful, but they weren't built to understand insurance at that level. We built Plutus Atlas as an insurance-specific knowledge layer that gives AI agents the domain context they need to work with confidence across the enterprise. We think the next phase of enterprise AI won't be about who has the best model. It'll be about who has the best context. 💬 Do you agree? Watch our Co-founder, Kara Anderson, explain why we believed the knowledge layer was the missing piece, and why we think it's what will separate successful agentic AI implementations from the rest.

  • Thank you to our team, our investors, and most importantly, our customers. Cheers to one year 🥂

One year ago, Plutus was an idea built on a simple belief: Insurance deserves Agentic AI that understands insurance. Twelve months later, that belief has become something much bigger. ✔️ Our team has grown to more than 60 people across US, UK and India   ✔️ We've partnered with 12 customers across life and annuity, property & casualty, and distribution partners  ✔️ We've launched and deployed solutions tackling some of insurance's biggest operational challenges – from claims advocacy for brokers, to L&A operations, to NYDFS compliance  ✔️ We've built the insurance ontology that powers truly agentic experiences on the ServiceNow platform None of this would have been possible without the incredible customers who trusted us early, our investors Ashu Bhalla Lokesh Sikaria who believed in our vision from the beginning, and an exceptional team that has spent years inside the industry's largest transformation programs and knew there had to be a better way. Special thanks to the ServiceNow GTM team Charlie Waln Sara Koeth Christian Bowyer Blake Dalton John McDonald Leslie Sturdevant Ackerman Nigel Walsh Steve Dowling Abby Thompson and many others who have believed in the Plutus mission. Every AI deployment and every customer conversation have reinforced what we believed on day one: The organizations that realize the greatest value from agentic AI don't simply adopt new technology. They build on the right foundation and reimagine the customer journeys in the AI world.  To our customers, partners, investors, and every member of the Plutus team: thank you for believing in what we're building. And thanks to my team who is driving the Plutus excellence everyday Kara Anderson Abhishek Bajpai and to the MVP of Plutus Kaeli Krause One year down, many more to come. We're just getting started.

London never disappoints 🇬🇧   Our CEO, Chirag Jindal, and GTM Lead, Aubrey Nyman, spent last week catching up with our board member Phil Maljevic, meeting with customers and prospects, and spending time with Christian Bowyer and his ServiceNow team! There may have also been an England match watched from a proper pub (strictly for local market research of course). Then, back to work!   Always energizing to spend time with the people helping shape the future of insurance. We'll see you soon, London!

Commercial submissions are full of critical risk signals. The problem is finding them. An inspection report. A loss run. Broker emails. Photos. Notes written in inconsistent language across documents that were never designed to talk to each other. The information is there. But by the time a human has read through all of it, reconciled the inconsistencies, and made a decision, time has been lost, something on page 31 has been missed, and the broker is still waiting for an answer. We built RiskReason because we kept seeing the same pattern. The data problem was not unique to one carrier or one broker. It was structural. RiskReason does not summarize documents. It reasons through them. It maps observations to exposures, links them to OSHA and NFPA obligations, and traces causal risk chains through a knowledge graph, so what surfaces is not a confident-sounding summary but a traceable, evidence-backed verdict that an underwriter can actually stand behind. For brokers, that means stronger submission narratives and faster placement. For underwriters, that means a triaged workbench with the queue ranked by priority and the reasoning already spelled out. For leaders, that means portfolio visibility into hidden concentrations before they become loss events. Faster time to quote. Faster time to bind. A clearer path to profitable growth. The full walkthrough is in the video. Drop a comment or reach out if you want to see it on your own submissions.

The number one question I get since starting Plutus is: What is ontology? The simple answer: It is the smart way to do AI, but let me explain. Nobody has a real knowledge layer underneath their AI. That is what is causing the inaccuracies, the hallucinations, and the rising costs without the return. Right now, three different AI tools in your tech stack are probably looking at the same customer record. One calls it cust_id. Another calls it CustomerRef. Another calls it client_no. Each is guessing at what that column actually represents, because the warehouse schema describes storage, not meaning. So you end up with three different interpretations of the same customer, and three different answers to the same question. This is what happens when you deploy AI without a context layer underneath it. Some people call that layer an ontology, or the context layer. It sits between your AI tools and your raw data, already knowing that "Customer" means one specific thing, "Policy" means one specific thing, "Claim" means one specific thing. Every agent reads from that same shared understanding instead of guessing on its own. Once that layer is in place, the chatbot, the AI agent, and the automation across your different systems are all working from the same vocabulary. You do the work of defining your business once, and every agent inherits it. Right now, this is a concept we are talking about with companies that really get it. In a few months, it is going to be the thing everyone who is not getting results wishes they had built first. If you're interested in learning more about Plutus Atlas, our Insurance ontology solution, and how it can give your AI agents the kickstart they need, reach out. We'd love to connect.

Every submission is an exchange of information between a broker and the carrier. Most solutions in the industry focus on solving one of them.     Brokers and Underwriters should not be playing email ping-pong over new business and renewals. This is our attempt to change how commercial lines are placed.     Plutus is excited to launch RiskReason: a solution for both Carriers and Brokers. 🚀   Underwriters get an AI-triaged workbench. Brokers get a renewal and placement portal.     Drop in an inspection report, an ACORD app, a loss run, even a broker email thread, or a Risk Report and RiskReason reads the entire submission corpus, not just one document, and extracts the fields that matter. No rekeying. No back and forth between five systems.    Every output comes back explainable. RiskReason cites the source, so you can always see exactly which document a finding came from and why it was flagged. Not a confident-sounding guess, but a traceable answer you can point to and defend.     And by design, not just by policy: AI recommends. Underwriters decide.    Ready to see what RiskReason can do? Drop a comment or a DM, bring your messiest, most complex submission, and let us run it.
