  • Caylon Reaves serves as a Safety Specialist at RSi on the METTS III contract, where he supports NASA operations by working closely with engineers, technicians, and leadership to promote a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. His responsibilities include conducting safety inspections, developing Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), ensuring OSHA compliance, and helping create a culture where safety is always the top priority. With his years of workplace safety experience, combined with four years of service in the U.S. Marine Corps as a Combat Engineer and 12 years as a firefighter, Caylon brings a wealth of real-world experience and a servant's heart to everything he does. Born and raised in Alabama, Caylon is a proud father of three children and one dog, Lola. When he's not at work you'll likely find him spending time with his kids, training in the gym, or competing in strongman competitions. He is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Safety, continuing to build on a career dedicated to protecting others. Although Caylon has only been with RSi for a short time, he says the people have made all the difference. He shares that he's never experienced the level of support, encouragement, and genuine willingness to help both from coworkers and leadership that he's found at RSi. From day one, the team has made him feel welcomed, valued, and empowered to succeed, making it unlike any other company he's worked for. For Caylon, safety is much more than a profession—it's a calling. After years of serving others as both a Marine and firefighter, he saw workplace safety as another opportunity to make a meaningful difference. His mission is simple: to ensure every employee returns home happy and healthy at the end of each day. He believes his role is to serve everyone around him by creating the safest environment possible and helping others whenever they need it. Caylon has accomplished some incredible things. He was crowned Alabama's Strongest Man in 2022, ranked 183rd worldwide in the Static Monsters strongman competition, is a published author on addiction recovery, and was honored with the Medal of Valor in 2023 for his role in a rescue operation. And if that wasn't impressive enough—he can deadlift a Ford Explorer three times! The best advice Caylon has ever received is: "Your title makes you a boss, but it's your actions that make you a leader." It's a principle that guides the way he serves others both professionally and personally. We're proud to have Caylon's leadership, dedication, and passion for serving others as part of Team RSi. His commitment to safety, his remarkable background of service, and his drive to make a positive impact every day make him an invaluable member of our organization. #TeamRSi

  • Alice Daniel serves as Senior Engineer and IT Group Lead for the METTS III Contract at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center Test Area, where she leads an exceptional IT team supporting data systems administration, local networks, high-speed imaging and videography, and IT security planning. As the subject matter expert for low-speed data acquisition systems used throughout the Test Area, Alice helps ensure her team's guiding principle remains true: "Accurate Data... First Time, On Time, Every Time." With over 40 years of experience in NASA's Test Area, Alice began her career in 1984 as a Data Librarian and advanced through software development, project management, and leadership roles. Remarkably, she has had the same NASA phone number since day one. Throughout her career, she has worked alongside talented engineers, technicians, developers, and other professionals who have contributed to NASA's Test Area success. Driven by a lifelong curiosity about how things work, Alice discovered programming early in her career and was immediately hooked. Today, she enjoys mentoring others, leading teams, and helping solve complex technical challenges. A proud graduate of Alabama State University (B.S. Business) and Alabama A&M University (M.S. Computer Science), Alice is originally from Dothan, Alabama. Tennis played an important role in her life and helped her earn the opportunity to attend Alabama State University. She played competitively through high school and college and later coached, taught, and umpired the sport. Although multiple knee replacements have taken her off the court, she still enjoys following the game's top players. Alice is also passionate about giving back through organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and Madison County CASA. She values these experiences and their positive impact on the community. Her love of tinkering extends beyond technology. What began as helping friends and family with home improvement projects grew into a small business assisting women with jobs that were "too small for the big guys." More recently, she has developed a passion for repairing small engines and takes pride in rebuilding a riding lawn mower from the ground up. What Alice values most about working at RSi is the company's leadership and culture. She appreciates the open-door approach of the leadership team and their commitment to listening to employees. She also looks forward to the annual RSi Christmas party. Her advice: "Continue to learn. Learn more about your profession, explore new interests, and learn about other people and cultures. If you keep learning, you'll never be bored." RSi is fortunate to have someone with Alice's expertise, dedication, and leadership on the team. Her impact can be seen every day through the people she mentors and the programs she supports. And if you've ever attended an RSi Christmas party, you know there's one more reason Alice stands out—her dance moves are just as impressive as her technical skills! #TeamRSi

  • Yesterday, our Corporate Office completed a CPR/AED certification training. The timing couldn’t have been better as our beloved CEO, Niko Connell, celebrated another birthday this week. Our team is now fully prepared with life‑saving skills—just in case he ever needs it as the years keep rolling in. All jokes aside, please join us in wishing Niko a very happy birthday! And here’s hoping he lets us keep our jobs after posting this... 😉 #TeamRSi
