Microsoft will end product support and updates for Dynamics GP on Dec. 31, 2029. They plan to only provide two years of security updates after that. While 2029 might seem far away now, these things have a way of sneaking up on us! And companies need to start planning for this now. To better understand what organizations are planning to do and where they are in the planning process, RSM US LLP conducted a survey across North America in 2024. Based on those findings, the team at RSM outlined some recommendations for next steps. Get the full report here: https://rsm.us/3WykFOm

October is #CybersecurityAwarenessMonth— and just like your personal health, your organization's digital health needs an annual physical. When was the last time you truly assessed your program's well-being? RSM US LLP's Cyber Maturity Assessment is the comprehensive health check that gives you a clear diagnosis and a precise treatment plan: 📈 The Vital Signs: We benchmark your program maturity across people, processes, and technology, comparing your health to industry peers. ✅ The Detailed Exam: We perform tests of design and implementation to ensure controls aren't just written down, but are working effectively in practice such as with evidence reviews and active system testing. ⚖️ The X-Ray: We reveal whether your data is being targeted on the dark web, exposing hidden breaches or compromised credentials. 🔬 The Diagnosis: We focus on identifying your critical risks and vulnerabilities, pinpointing the most urgent threats to your organization. Stop waiting for a major incident to force a checkup. Our goal is to move beyond an output that builds awareness but one that provides a detailed, actionable plan to met your outcomes. We help you operationalize remediation, resulting in quick wins, a prioritized "treatment plan," and a long-term roadmap to build your digital resilience. 🔗 Schedule your program's annual cyber physical: https://rsm.us/47vEGKL

  • Liquidity squeeze in the money markets—what do you need to know? The Treasury’s shift toward short-term T-bills to reduce interest payments is creating ripple effects across the financial system. Money market funds are pulling cash from the Fed’s overnight repo facility to chase higher yields, tightening liquidity and pressuring benchmark rates like SOFR. This isn’t just a technical adjustment. It’s a structural shift that could distort bond pricing, inhibit investment and slow economic growth. “The reliance on short-term bills to finance long-term debt has already had consequences,” writes our Chief Economist Joseph Brusuelas. How could these shifts affect your financing strategy and investment planning? Read our full article for a deeper dive: https://rsm.us/4nFW8D9
