A big weekend in Utah, and such a fun one for us at Thread®! The U of U vs. BYU rivalry is huge here and we wanted to find a creative way to engage the local community. Before the game, Sierra and I went around the stadium asking fans to compliment the opposing team in exchange for a free bag and wallet. It ended up being such a fun initiative! People were laughing, joking, and even running up to us saying, “I love Thread, can I be in the video?!” Our Social Media Manager Sierra Knell filmed and edited the video on the spot and had it posted before the game even started and it’s already hit 255,000 views! It was the perfect blend of showcasing our product, tapping into a cultural moment, and creating content that sparks conversation. So proud of the creativity and quick execution from the team and excited to keep building these moments at Thread!

  • Meet the Pocket Wallet! Our newest design that strips things back to the essentials: smooth leather, a single button closure, and a silhouette that feels modern yet timeless. It comes in three colors that make it perfect for everyday use! Thread started with one wallet design and has now grown into a full lineup of silhouettes for every style and occasion. The Pocket is the latest step in that journey, proof that minimal design can still make a statement! https://lnkd.in/gdjmUh-R

  • We let New York steal from us, and then it went viral 👀 Let’s break down why we think this campaign was such a hit: 1️⃣ It tapped into curiosity. A sign that literally said “Steal This Wallet” made people stop, look twice, and say "wait for real, we can just take one??" 2️⃣ It flipped expectations. Instead of asking people to buy, we invited them to take. That twist got people talking and sharing. 3️⃣ It was simple but bold. No over explaining, just a daring statement that did the heavy lifting. 4️⃣ It connected to our brand DNA. At Thread, we’ve always loved to cultivate and involve our community. Set in the streets of New York, this campaign involved the people, and gave them a first look at Thread. 💭 Curious to hear from other marketers, what’s the boldest campaign you’ve seen lately that made you stop scrolling?

I am BEYOND excited for our collegiate collection to launch tomorrow here at Thread®! For the past 6-7 years we have made collegiate wallets for a few of our local universities, but we thought it was time to expand the program. It will be launching in waves, but we've got quite a few really cool universities launching tomorrow. What schools would you like to see Thread® launch??? Share a picture below of you supporting your favorite college team below and I'll pick a few of you to send some stuff too! #gocougs!

I’m excited to share that Thread®'s new collegiate line is officially live- now available on our website and at select campus bookstores and retailers nationwide! This has been a project I’ve been working on with Joe Summers for quite some time, and it’s thrilling to finally see it come to life. Entering the world of collegiate licensing was eye-opening for me as there’s so much that goes into it, from brand and design approvals to royalties. Every piece was thoughtfully designed by Lacie Beaty, Kinley Olivier, Brenden Nelson, and Jane Bergeson with fans in mind! A huge thank you to Christian Otting, Marc Hodson, Trevor Reese, and of course Joe Summers at Onbase for all of their support and work that made this launch possible. You can check out more schools on our website (linked in the comments), with even more to come. Here are a few of my favorite pieces from this first drop:
