✨Teamwork in Action ✨ At Playground, we know that strong teams aren’t built by projects and deadlines alone, they thrive on shared experiences, creativity, and fun outside the office too! Last week, our Customer Experience team put their collaboration skills to the test at Beat The Bomb NYC, an immersive escape-room style challenge. From solving puzzles and racing against the clock to facing the ultimate slime bomb 💥, the team showed the same resilience, communication, and quick thinking they bring to supporting our customers every day. A huge shoutout to Amanda Galluzzo for organizing such a fantastic day! 🙌 Moments like these remind us that culture is more than what happens at our desks, it’s the trust, camaraderie, and laughter that bring us closer together and make us stronger as a company. 🚨 Playground is now in Denver! 🚨 We’re excited to announce the official opening of our brand-new Denver office! 🎉 To kick things off, we’ve welcomed two fantastic Account Executives – Tristan Jaramillo and Cam Bruno – with our Head of Sales, Tom Antosik, already on the ground training them! Meet Cam Bruno: With over a decade of sales leadership experience spanning construction, construction tech, and SaaS, Cam has helped grow startups and driven success at companies like Bluebeam and Autodesk. He’s passionate about building strong relationships, solving complex challenges, and helping customers bring big ideas to life. Meet Tristan Jaramillo: Tristan began his career in tech, first selling consumer electronics and then gaining experience across industries including construction, telecom, and eventually SaaS. For nearly 7 years, he’s partnered with business owners through a consultative sales approach — listening, identifying challenges, and tailoring solutions that make lasting impact. Why Denver? Last Thursday, Playground had the honor of hosting the 7th Bevs & Devs in our NYC office with July! 🍻💻 The energy was unreal, from ambitious side projects to bold startup pitches, the room was full of builders showing off what they’ve been working on. Bevs & Devs is part happy-hour, part feedback session where folks demo their projects - whether it’s a side hustle or the next big startup. It’s a space to: - Show off your skills - Meet a co-founder - Get funding - Connect with the best NYC startups (both Playground & July are hiring!) It was an incredible evening of learning, connection, and community. From Danae McCullough’s inspiring talk on building customer-centric teams that thrive through change, to breakout discussions for both leaders and ICs, the room was full of energy, collaboration, and powerful takeaways. 🎉 Happy 1-year workiversary, Amanda Galluzzo! As an SMB Account Manager at Playground, Amanda has made a huge impact by serving as a trusted advisor to our providers, helping them unlock new ways to grow and reach their goals. She’s been instrumental in introducing new features that drive success for our SMB customers and strengthen Playground’s partnerships. Amanda’s dedication and expertise have shined through in so many ways, learning frequent shoutouts from providers, closing our largest payroll deal to date, and creating resources that help the entire team level up. Beyond the numbers, Amanda brings care, collaboration, and insight into everything she does. Her work has empowered providers, elevated our team, and created lasting value for Playground in just one year. We’re so excited to celebrate this milestone and can’t wait to see all that Amanda continues to accomplish at Playground! 🚀  

🎉 Meet John Fiorilla, our new Senior Software Engineer! We’re so excited to welcome John to Playground! With nearly a decade of experience building and designing digital products, John brings a unique blend of engineering expertise and design sensibility to the team. An expert in React and UI/UX, he excels at turning complex ideas into intuitive, engaging interfaces that feel natural and enjoyable to use. Motivated by design and passionate about creating tactile, communicative, and delightful experiences, John focuses on building interfaces that not only work seamlessly but are also fun to explore. Mission-driven at heart, John is excited to help childcare providers unlock the full value of technology, so they can focus on what matters most: caring for children. We can’t wait to see the magic he’ll bring to our product, our customers, and the Playground team. Let’s go, John! 🚀 🛝

🎉 Meet Brittney Dickerson, our new Senior Mid-Market Account Manager! We’re so excited to welcome Brittney to Playground! Brittney started her career on Wall Street working in fixed income (bonds) and has spent the last 13 years in account management and customer experience within SaaS. Most recently, she’s been focused on EdTech SaaS, partnering with school districts to help them transform into digital-first organizations. She brings deep strengths in problem solving, relationship building, and strong communication, always serving as a trusted advocate for her customers. Brittney is especially excited to dive into the needs of multi-center customers and ensure they’re fully supported in getting the most out of Playground. Outside of work, she loves to travel and explore new foods. We’re thrilled to have her on board and can’t wait to see the impact she’ll make in our community! 🛝 🚀

☀️ Playground Summer Park Day! 🌳 🍕 🐶 To wrap up the summer, our Playground team headed to Central Park for an afternoon of games, food, and community. From volleyball and spike ball to tug-of-war and relay races, we brought out our competitive (but friendly!) sides. Of course, no Playground gathering is complete without plenty of pizza, snacks, and good vibes to go around. From the Engineers who keep our platform running, to the Account Managers supporting our customers daily, and everyone in between, thank you to our entire team for all you do! 💛 These moments remind us that our culture is about more than just work, it’s about building real connections and having fun together.
