What You’ll Do

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you’ll play a hands-on role in supporting WAYB’s marketing efforts across our wholesale and trade channels. You’ll help bring our brands (WAYB and Gentle Wuff) to life across digital platforms, assist with campaign execution, and contribute to a seamless brand experience at every touchpoint. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Email & SMS Marketing: Support the management of the email calendar and automated flows; help track performance through A/B testing and reporting on key metrics such as open rates, CTR, and conversion rates.
  • Social Media & Community: Assist in executing our social media strategy by creating and scheduling content that resonates with our audience in the juvenile and pet spaces, while actively engaging with our community.
  • Partnership & Influencer Coordination: Help identify and coordinate relationships with brand partners and influencers to expand our reach and strengthen our mission-driven presence.
  • Wholesale & Trade Marketing: Support our national retail partners (like Target, Nordstrom, and REI) by helping prepare digital assets and trade show materials that effectively represent the WAYB brand.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Create weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports using to track performance and identify market opportunities for growth.
  • Brand Guardianship: Show up as a brand ambassador across all touchpoints, contributing to consistent storytelling that highlights our commitment to family adventure and planet-friendly products.
  • Event & Trade Show Attendance: Willingness to travel and attend industry events, trade shows, and brand activations as needed throughout the year, representing WAYB on the ground and contributing to a strong in-person brand presence.

What You’ll Need

  • 3+ years of marketing experience, exposure to wholesale or trade marketing. Experience in the juvenile or pet space is a plus.
  • Proven Experience with Email/SMS Platforms (Klaviyo experience is a major plus) and E-commerce platforms like Shopify.
  • Strong Social Media Background: Experience managing brand accounts and executing influencer/partnership campaigns.
  • Analytical Proficiency: Highly proficient in data retrieval and analysis on platform-specific reporting tools.
  • Experience in Trade/Wholesale Marketing: Understanding how to support national retailers and navigate B2B marketing needs.
  • Exceptional Communication: Strong writing and time management skills are essential for interacting with customers and partners.
  • Strong written communication skills and a keen eye for brand voice and detail.
  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • U.S. Citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship (required).

Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST) Certification: Not required to start, but will be a mandatory certification within your first 3 months in the role.
