Marketing Specialist

Soni is partnered with a global professional services firm who is seeking a Practice Group Marketing Specialist to support business development and marketing initiatives across a Corporate/Business practice group. This role will partner closely with attorneys, practice leadership, and the broader marketing team to drive revenue growth, client expansion, brand visibility, and strategic business development efforts.

This individual will support pitches and proposals, events and sponsorships, pipeline management, market research, thought leadership initiatives, and client development programs. The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, organized, and experienced working in a fast-paced professional services environment.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Marketing & Business Development

• Support development and execution of practice group marketing and business development plans
• Assist with initiatives focused on client retention, cross-selling, and new business generation
• Identify target prospects and support strategic outreach initiatives
• Coordinate sponsorships, events, and visibility programs aligned with practice goals
• Serve as a liaison between attorneys and internal marketing teams

Pitches, Proposals & Research

• Lead and support responses to RFPs, RFIs, pitches, and proposals
• Conduct market, competitor, and client research
• Analyze market trends and competitive positioning
• Support pipeline tracking, business planning, and growth initiatives
• Coordinate attorney business development support and training initiatives

Events & Thought Leadership

• Assist with execution of client events, conferences, networking programs, and sponsorships
• Partner with communications and creative teams on thought leadership and visibility initiatives
• Track ROI and performance of marketing programs and initiatives
• Support branding consistency across marketing collateral and communications

Marketing Operations & Knowledge Management

• Maintain marketing collateral, deal lists, client lists, and practice descriptions
• Manage CRM and business development tracking tools
• Support reporting, onboarding, and internal knowledge-sharing initiatives
• Project manage multiple concurrent marketing and business development initiatives
