Job Summary QA Automation Engineer

  • Design & Build Automation Frameworks: Architect and implement scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation frameworks from scratch for UI and API testing (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress).
  • Hands-on Testing: Perform functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Defect Management: Identify, log, and manage defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with developers, stakeholders, and Agile teams to ensure data integrity, system performance, and test-driven development.
  • Governance & Quality: Emphasize quality, reusability, and governance in test automation within a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environment.
  • Agile Environment: Operate within Agile/Scrum teams and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • API & Salesforce Testing: Conduct automated testing for APIs and Salesforce applications.
  • Experience Required: 3 5 years of QA and automation experience, preferably in healthcare or government sectors.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress), API testing, and Agile methodologies.
  • Location & Engagement: Hybrid onsite in Boston, MA; candidates must be local (no relocation);
  • Start & Duration: Begins June 2026, 6-month contract.
