We are seeking an experienced Regional Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of 4–10 multifamily properties within the assigned region. As a key leader, you will ensure operational excellence, financial performance, team development, and a superior resident experience across your portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership
Oversee daily operations of 4–10 multifamily properties within your region.
Ensure all properties adhere to company policies and brand standards.
Conduct regular property visits to assess performance, curb appeal, maintenance, and leasing standards.
Collaborate with Regional Service Directors to implement preventive maintenance and capital improvement programs.
Financial Management
Assist in the development of annual operating and capital budgets for each property.
Review and analyze monthly financial statements; identify variances and recommend corrective actions.
Identify opportunities to enhance revenue and control expenses.
Team Leadership & Development
Recruit, train, and mentor Property Managers and on-site teams to drive engagement and retention.
Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching, and professional development sessions.
Approve new hires, promotions, and disciplinary actions in partnership with HR and the Area Vice President.
Hold regular one-on-one meetings with Property Managers and foster a culture of accountability, service excellence, and collaboration.
Ensure completion of all required compliance, safety, and skill development training.
Marketing & Leasing
Support the deployment of marketing, advertising, and outreach initiatives to maximize leasing results.
Ensure strong marketing positioning and brand consistency across all assets.
Resident & Client Relations
Deliver superior customer service and resident satisfaction throughout the portfolio.
Respond promptly and professionally to elevated resident or owner concerns.
Conduct resident feedback evaluations and implement action plans where necessary.
Support Property Managers in resolving complex resident or vendor matters.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, OSHA, and all local/state/federal regulatory requirements and company policies.
Confirm that safety protocols, preventive maintenance schedules, and emergency preparedness procedures are consistently followed.
Review and report all liability, property, and workers’ compensation incidents promptly to leadership and HR.
Administration & Reporting
Maintain accurate property data, financials, and reporting files for portfolio review.
Submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports as required.
Act as a key liaison between corporate leadership and on-site teams.
Collaborate cross-functionally with accounting, marketing, HR, and other departments.
Minimum 5–7 years of multifamily property management experience, including at least 3 years in a multi-site leadership role.
Demonstrated success in managing multiple property sites and teams.
Strong financial acumen and budget management skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
Must be able to travel up to 50% in assigned region
