Power BI is more than just pretty charts 📈 The real magic happens in the Data Model. I recently finished a project where the reports were slow and the numbers didn't always match up because the data was coming from too many different places. By fixing the underlying data model, I was able to: Speed up report loading times. Make sure every KPI was 100% accurate. Help the team make decisions faster. The Lesson: If your data model is weak, your insights will be too. Focus on the foundation first, and the visuals will follow #PowerBI #DataModeling #BusinessIntelligence #DataAnalytics #DataVisualization #DAX #AnalyticsArchitecture #DataStrategy

Day 25/180 Data Modeling in Power BI I have come to realize that strong dashboards start with strong data models. In Power BI, relationships help connect tables so filters can flow properly, and Microsoft recommends using star schema design with fact and dimension tables. My key takeaway A great report is only as good as the model behind it. #AdaoraBecomesABusinessAnalyst #180DaysOfConsistency #PowerBI #DataModeling #BusinessAnalysis

Most people think Power BI is just about charts… But in reality, the real power is in DATA MODELING. I recently worked on a project where: Data was coming from multiple sources Reports were slow and inconsistent After redesigning the data model: Report performance improved KPIs became more reliable Decision-making became faster Lesson: If your data model is weak, your insights will be wrong. Now I focus more on building strong data models before jumping into visuals. #PowerBI #DataAnalytics #BusinessIntelligence #SQL #DataModeling

Data Cleaning with Excel Clean data = Better decisions 📈 Before jumping into dashboards in Power BI, data cleaning is a must — and Excel is still one of the most powerful tools for it. 🔑 My go-to Excel cleaning steps: ✔️ Remove duplicates ✔️ Trim extra spaces ✔️ Fix text case (UPPER/LOWER/PROPER) ✔️ Handle missing values ✔️ Split columns (Text to Columns) ✔️ Use Flash Fill (Ctrl + E ⚡) ✔️ Convert text to numbers ✔️ Remove blank rows 💡 Simple steps, but they save hours and improve data quality massively.
