As a starting musician, I would try this but would it be a challenge because I only have Garageband. Those snares really stand out, which I love!

______________
NEW GENRE!
(Read Below)
Genre Name: "Neurobeat"
A sub-genre of Neurofunk, which is a sub-genre of Drum and Bass.
Core Philosophy and Sound:
Bass: Using a bassline originally made for 175bpm DnB, slowed down to 155bpm to achieve the Neurobeat bass effect. This slower pulse of the faster pattern is alien! This new pulse effect is the core of Neurobeat. One defining nuanced bass technique is called "Sporadic Volume Modulation", which is evident in this song. This is akin to a kid messing around with the volume knob on the family stereo, randomly turning the volume up and down really fast, making a beat out of the weird audio motion.
Melody: Using a Trance-esque melody pattern is acceptable in this genre, whereas melodies are usually avoided in the parent genre, Neurofunk. Use modulation in the melody if it suits the song. This can help the trance-like qualities of the melody shine with alien light!
Beat: Using standard DnB beat patterns, this slower tempo provides a lot of breathing room for extra inflection and a more complete rhythm if you want. This tempo range is crucial for making these beats feel more primal and epic.
Effect: Humans makes nuanced dance moves to this new rhythm style.
Key Characteristics:
-Tempo and Rhythm: 152 to 156 bpm. Pulsing sounds are used more than basic pads, preventing longer sounds that drone on, in this slower tempo.
-Instrumentation and Sound Design: All sounds within the track can be modulated with classic and inventive Neurofunk sound design techniques, such as dynamic EQ etc. The main beat should have some pulsing effects or strobing high hat patterns to propel the energy and retain coherence between bars.
-Harmonic and Melodic Language: Try to harmonize the melody with the bass without sounding predictable. This helps during slower genres, but is something that Neurobeat uses often.
-Structure and Arrangement: Uses common structures used in genres like DnB, Trance, House and Pop to some degree.
-Atmosphere and Mood: The feeling is about a spiritual alignment with digital bass and rhythm. The pulsing bass and the neurofunk style bass used in a slower tempo creates a wildly energetic experience. The adrenaline is unique.
Distinguishing Factors:
Not Slow Drum and Bass
Not Half Time
It's between the two. It uses Neurofunk sound design with Trance-esque Melodies sometimes, which Neurofunk almost hides from. DnB makes you feel the raw energy of the Drums and Bass! Trance makes you feel the raw ethereal emotions of tranquility - a Trance!
The Neurobeat Genre provides a Unique Audio Canvas for Energetic Tranquility.
