Gave me space feelings, as in I'd listen to it traveling to a colonized planet in future. :)) Nice.

I found myself short on time in terms of making personal songs or independent releases, since most of my time has been going for IRL or online work. I did find myself with a couple of bursts of inspiration throughout the year though, and this is one of them.
While I don't plan on applying soon, I got inspired from a label called GWAVA, a sibling label of CHOMPO run by @TOKYOMACHINE & Half An Orange. GWAVA is a much calmer house label that can focus on atmospheric elements, especially in some of the later releases from the label. I listened to some of the tracks, especially from Andrew Spellman, and it gave me a stroke of inspo to make this.
Nice chill departure, but also experimental in switching back and forth between straight feel and a late-swing feel. This was also one of the first songs where I was experimenting with new techniques and approaches to my mastering, including panning and true level balancing/shelving. I also did a lot of from-scratch synth work here, which is just fun to learn from and experiment with!
Hopefully a good step in the right direction!
