I have not used game maker since early 2000. I remember only being able to play games within the game maker application. Of game maker is able to export files as an HTML5 format, you have that option. You can upload HTML5 games. Constuct and unity are able to be uploaded as well, too my knowledge.

Please, i am waiting for an answer.

If the latest version of gamemaker can do HTML5 games, you can use that format. Otherwise, you can try unity or construct.

I don't really know why this character was brought back but I suppose it was the easiest or least expensive one to use for a platform game. Who knows, maybe it will be okay. I just don't think this character has much to offer though, but that might be because the trailer doesn't show much. For now, it looks as if it wants nothing more but to cash in on nostalgia.

I often wonder why characters such as this are chosen over other retired ones, such as Vectorman.

I see what you did there. And most ads might use stuff that has nothing to do with the product to make an impression, or make you remember it.

Here's a couple more. @Dean might get one of these.

The second one is clearly Turok 2 on the n64, dunno about the first one....

I remember having a lot of fun with this mod called All Out War 2, it was pretty rad. Not sure if it is original or an introduction of a pre-existing game but it was fun. I doubt any servers would run it now though. I also recall getting a fake virus scanner whenever I played it, I think one of the files it would download for the server I joined was infected.

Here is a video of it:

I used one of those "free 900 hours" aol disc back in the day, and went on Nick.com and Cartoon Network.com, which apparently had cartoons on it made in flash. I remember they took forever to load.

You're right, it was my understanding that we had to insure the rule was never broken. So, I was under the assumption even though the 3 has a D, since we had to make sure the rule wasn't broken, it being a different letter was a possibility.

If it is I'd turn over the F and 7...

Wrong, the rule only follows the D and 3 Cards, so those are the ones you would turn over to insure the rule is never broken.
F and 7 have no rules bound to them, so you can ignore those.
I would say turn over 3 and 7, 3 to make sure D is on the other side, and 7 to make sure there isn't a D.

It would be cool if a musician around here could make a "Jojo-like" theme for you... Would be cool to have a whole parody-music crew around here who specializes in making original compositions that goof on popular theme songs.

Maybe even have a section of the audio portal for parody songs for situations like this. Songs that mimick other liscensed music.

There is also songs that are made to sound like a copyritten song as well. Basically what they do was they mimic it without sounding to much like the actual song. I've heard this mostly used in parodies like Robot Chicken or How It Should Of Ended. Royalty Free music sometimes has it.

Even though youtube does it, I think by law an actual person has to check for copyright issues. I only read that on here in another users post, so I could be wrong. Besides, that could be abused like how youtube's copyright claims have been abused.

Again though, replacing music in a cartoon that has all the sounds mixed in a stream would be a bit of a project. The user of the content might not even be active to update the said content. Hopefully there is a way around that, with professional editing and such.

This is what we have found as well. @Mike might be able to make a tool that lets us easily replace the streamed sound file but even then, it is a big undertaking to update.... The file tends to contain multiple songs (which need to have their timing matched exactly for how they are spaced apart) in addition to any streamed sound effects that played over top of the songs - so the new track would have to have redone sound effects baked in at those exact moments.

the only work around for situations like that I could think of is finding another decompiler that exports the sounds. I remember trying that out a few years back. I think I remember an older flash decompiler that I believe managed to convert the swf to fla, along with the sound. Only problem was that any scripting would be removed (this was a gimmick to make people purchase.) But for what we are trying to do, one could edit the sounds that way, and either redo the scripts or edit the flash in swivel and just dub the sound over it in a video editor.

Yeah I'm hoping to get as much back on-line as possible so help from existing mods and potential future mods will go a long way. I need to look at having a better area for mods to review submissions that have been pulled for music issues.

So far the only problem I noticed with the program that @bit brought up is that not all the sounds show up at times. From what I can see, I believe that event sounds are the ones that you are able to replace. If a user streamed any sounds, all the sounds will be mixed in one file, which does NOT give the option to replace. In other words, when they added the sound to the timeline, it would of had to been an event. Otherwise the recompiled sees the sounds as a mixed file. Unless I'm wrong, but this happened to me with a flash I was editing.
