I hope that a pretty large audience watches the flash, because I think that there are a lot of people out there that wouldn't mind seeing a movie such as this. Thanks for reading, oh and tell your friends if you think they would be interested in this.

Hello, oh and that flash isn't stolen, it's a demo reel of my work.

Thanks for the advice on my backgrounds, you might be right in some way... I'll try to add more to my bg's. Thanks for the suggestions.

yup...

Rothaven: Woe to the Defeated Posted January 27th, 2004 in General

I have begun on a flash movie called Rothaven: Woe to the Defeated. It takes place in a previous point in history (unknown) and the lands are filled with frozen surroundings. Snow everywhere. Its like a freezing torture to these people who must live in the land.

I dont really want to spoil the story... so I won't. All I would like to ask is this:

Would you people be ready to see a serious flash on NG? Of course there will be violence and all of that but without much comedy at all? The animation I'm attempting with this is my best yet... and I do believe it is pretty neat. So that is all I have to ask to you people today... are you ready to see somethin like this? Because if you are....awesome! My friend did the script, and I am doing the art and animation. It should be something you guys won't forget on NG. Good or Bad.

Some people like seriousness...some don't. But usually the people that don't like seriousness like violence... so I'm sure you'll like this movie :)

Oh! And I plan on submitting the introduction to this movie fairly soon. If you want to see what the chars with most likely look like... check out the beginning of my demo reel:

ENJOY, oh and please... lots of comments regarding this project. I want to hear all of your suggestions.

hey -1, you wouldnt maybe wanna collab in a game would you? i donno actionscript but im a good artist, check out my demo reels. we can make some fun little games if u want.

ex. godzilla in japan haha or something like that. godzilla would be able to stomp, punch, jump, blow fire, stuff like that. oorrr it could be a game like kookin kidz' where you drop little kids into a cauldron. (that type of simple game, not copying it of course).

welp i just thought i'd ask. anyone else interested in making games with me should tell me.

Response to: Portal View Format Change Posted August 5th, 2003 in NG News

Well to me, a separate window is great. I can go from flash to flash, opening the movies as i wish; and watching more than one movie at a time. Are you gonna take that right from me Tom? Huh? I've been on NG since the beginning but yeah...anyways change IS good but whatever its not my choice. What do I know.

Lol, no offense, but i dont think people will just join ur group and just make an animation for u cause then they could just make their own!

Umm... I am an animator. And so is Sam. We basically need writers more than anything to get this thing going. So hey if your not interested thats ok, but I'm sure someone out there has the urge to write ideas for flashes and to have those ideas animated by me or Sam would be great.

PROJECT RECRUITING Posted June 30th, 2003 in Game Development

Looking to start an animation group with writers, animators, and directors. Only ones that are dedicated to doing so will be picked. Me (unclemike) and Sam (Master Samus) are the ones who will be deciding who is in or not. NOTE: Looking for animators who know how to do frame by frame, as well as motion tween; animators with a good sense of motion and creativity, as well as imagination into their drawings. We are actually looking for writers more than animators so you don't even need to have any art talent :)

Please reply to this post if you are in any way interested in being part of this project. Thank you.

unclemike, Master Samus

Response to: the HULK...in flash! Posted June 26th, 2003 in Game Development

Haha thanks tit

Hey guys be sure to check out titbread's site when its done eh.

Response to: the HULK...in flash! Posted June 26th, 2003 in Game Development

Yeah, uhh oops. I forgot to tell you guys that my site isn't ready yet. And NO I don't have a hulk animation on NG yet...which is why I'm talking about the making of it.

Response to: Frame by frame Posted June 26th, 2003 in Game Development

I do frame by frame animation. It's great cause its not cheesy like motion tweening. Motion tweening is very good for backgrounds and stuff like that when you want the background to move. I also use tweening to fade and fade out of scenes.

Response to: the HULK...in flash! Posted June 26th, 2003 in Game Development

Yknow... I think someone else here should do a hulk flash too, and yeah we'll see who is the better man eh? It's all in good fun, and plus it shows what kinda stuff people have in their heads for what they think the hulk should be like.

ANYWAY thanks guys. I betcha I could work both instrumental and heavy music into the flash, we'll see how it works out.

unclemike

Response to: the HULK...in flash! Posted June 25th, 2003 in Game Development

Yeah you read my mind. I was thinking about that already and I'll make sure to start the flash with him in human form for you, irish dude. THANKS

Also, any music suggestions for the animation?

Response to: Would You Rather?.. Posted June 25th, 2003 in General

I'd rather listen to United States of Whatever. David Bowie blows too much nuts.
