Dr. Arash Salemi, FACS, serves as Clinical Chairman of Cardiothoracic Surgery for RWJBarnabas Health’s Northern Region. An international authority in structural heart disease and valvular surgery, he has performed over 2,000 Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) procedures and actively mentors cardiac surgeons worldwide. Dr. Salemi’s research has shaped national clinical standards through his leadership in numerous pivotal trials, including the PARTNER and COAPT studies. His work continues to redefine excellence in cardiac surgery through innovation, precision, and patient-centered care.
