Then there is a Freewrite 12 minutes and the students can write a page on any given topic. They write on the same topic for 2 weeks, and at the end of a grading period, the work goes through the publishing process. She uses slides on the SmartBoard to transition from one activity to the next. She also ony explains on part of an activity or lesson at a time, gives students time to finish that section, and then moves on to the next one. She goes through the worksheet, lecturing off the directions.
