General Information The Engineering Encyclopedia is a collection of Saudi Aramco specific, technical material for use by Saudi Aramco employees to enhance their knowledge and understanding of the Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards. This material is intended for the exclusive use of Saudi Aramco's employees. This encyclopedia is not mandatory. It shall not be used nor referenced: In any purchase order In any contract In any other document sent outside Saudi Aramco By any company doing commercial business with or for Saudi Aramco.

Where reference is made to mandatory engineering requirements, such as those in SAES, SAMSS, SAEP, Standard Drawings, etc., and conflicts and deviations exist, those mandatory requirements take precedence over the information in the Engineering Encyclopedia. If there are general questions about the use of the Engineering Encyclopedia, contact the Standards Coordinator. If there are specific questions about the technical content of individual topics, contact the person indicated on page 1 of the topic.
