(This doesnt mean that you get points for homework though). For excused absences you have to notify me in writing and have a note from the school, Dr., etc. at least a week in advance. Also, each unexcused absence your grade will drop a step and again for every absence. You must attend your scheduled lab time unless previous arrangements have been made with instructor and approved at least one week in advance. You will be expected to be working at all times on the scheduled assignment for that week. Some assignments are due in this class on the day we work on them and others are due in the Costume Construction class. Pay close attention to the due dates. If additional time is needed to complete assignments, there will be a sign up sheet in the costume shop to work on things during specific hours/days. Makeup or Late Assignments: There will be no makeup or late assignments taken. If you miss a day of class with an unexcused absence (including your free one) you forfeit the participation points and the points for the assignment we did in class that day. If you have an excused absence (must be cleared with me at least a week in advance) you can do the assignment in advance and turn it in before the class day it is due. Although, the Wardrobe Project, Pulling and Restocking, and Personal Dye Project cannot be done unless you are in class.
