Why MBA after BE???

1) What I feel is tell what actually happened in ur case.In my case I was not so sure on my goal or target while I was doing BE.Just I did it to become an engineer...even my parents and relatives had influence on that. But b4 finishing the course i started doing reserch on the current industry and career options....and matched with my present s ill sets.I found my self in a better way doing managerial ind of !ob"interacting with people"ma ing decisions"helping and motivating others and able to convince others.....I realy en!oy doing this ind of this.....I have a few examples to !ustify this...always state things with e#amples supporting that...$ow I am very clear on what I can do and what I have to do... %echnical nowledge will help to do technical interviews"interacting with engineers"understand ther re&uirements"technical recruitment"performance appraisals in I% '()*+$IE, .......its always an asset to have technical bac grnd. -) .BE has enhanced my logical and analytical abilities. )B+ gives me the whole picture of how an organi/ation wor s. )B+ is a practitioners degree and BE gives me a sound base to adapt" adopt and understand domain nowledge &uic ly to apply the same for 'orporate 0rowth.. 1) If I am ever in a position to move up in the company, I need to know how to plan, as well as how to handle finances and people. Even if I decide to remain a working engineer, much engineering work is now accomplished by teams, and learning how to work as part of a team, as well as understanding the functions of others both on and outside the team, can be gained in an MBA program. It makes me a more flexible, sensitive, employee and, of course, provides me the means to one day become an employer.

4) the job avenues for engineers have saturated... by doing MBA the scope in the entire management field opens... a degree alone is not enough in the current time of globalisation and corporate world... 5)
