2 B Assignment

The document provides instructions for a research assignment involving developing relationships between variables based on literature review, proposing hypotheses, and creating a research model. It then specifies collecting data from at least 50 respondents to perform descriptive statistics, normality tests, correlation analyses between dependent and independent variables, and regression modeling to analyze findings. Students are asked to interpret results with detailed explanations rather than just copy-pasting SPSS output.

MSPM Assignment 2

Part one: 1. Literature review: Take three variables from the area of your own research interest. One should be the dependent variable and others should be the independent variables. Do a thorough literature review and develop relationships among variables on the basis of studied literature. Propose you hypotheses. 2. Research Model: Draw a research model like this:

Independent Variable

Dependant Variable

Independent Variable

Part 2: Collect the data from sample of at least 50 respondents. Make a data base in SPSS. Calculate and interpret the following; 1. Descriptive statistics including mean, standard deviation, maximum and minimum value of each variable. 2. Normality test and a histogram with normal probability curve of each variable. 3. Correlation between dependent and independent variables through scattered plot and correlation test. 4. A regression model stating r2, beta coefficient value, standard error values. 5. The research findings. Note: Students are required not to just copy paste the SPSS generated results in the assignment, but interpret them properly with detailed explanation.
