This does not mean to copy each others work but to help explain the process to arrive to the answer. There will be no helping each other on tests and quizzes because I want to know what each person knows. Mutual respect is to be reciprocated between students, teacher, and each other. Dont take my kindness for granted. We can have a fun laid back atmosphere as long as I feel as though my kindness isnt being abused. Leave the classroom as you found it. When you leave make sure that your area is picked up and the desk are placed back in order.

Classroom Procedures When coming into the classroom grab a calculator from the wall, and any papers laid out on the desk. Write on the board a question that you want me to work. I will work up to two questions per class period. Students are considered tardy if not in the classroom when the bell rings. Student only can go to the bathroom if they have a hall pass. Do not ask otherwise. Student will receive four every nine weeks, 16 every year. Students are responsible for keeping track of their hall pass. Work on the problems posted on the board. When I am standing and addressing the class, I expect the class to be quite so everyone can hear me. I will leave the last fifteen minutes for students to work on assignment. Students will work on assignment until the bell. Students are not to stand by the door when the bell rings. Keeping up in class It is expected that students will attend class. I do not make distinctions between excused and unexcused absences. Your only penalty for missing class is missing the points for anything collected and/or the material explained in class. If you know you will be gone, let me know in advance, so that I can save any handouts for you. Do homework ASAP after class while the concepts are still fresh in your mind. When you know that you are struggling with the content, you owe it to yourself to get help. Mandatory Tutoring If students grade is less than 60% then the student is to report to my room after school for extra help in getting their grade up or other arrangement can be made between the student and teacher.
