Motivator (clay dough)


Form groups of 4. Give each group a piece of clay dough. Tell one person in
each group a shape to form. Do not use any actions, words or sounds to help
them guess what you are making. The rest of the group will try to guess what the
shape is as you are doing it. Let everyone have a turn.

What problems do you sometimes fine when people are trying to tell you
something? What happens when the communication is not clear? In what ways
do we communicate other than the use of words? Can we become confused when
the words are different than the body image?

Eye Contact - look at the person the majority of the time.
Keep still - don t fidget, rock back and forth, play with hair or clothes.
